Egypt. Because of this;

Now then, I will tell you the truth: Three more kings will arise in Persia, and then a fourth, who will be far richer than all the others. By the power of his wealth, he will stir up everyone against the kingdom of Greece.a

3Then a mighty king will arise, who will rule with great authority and do as he pleases. 4But as soon as he is established, his kingdom will be broken up and parceled out toward the four winds of heaven. It will not go to his descendants, nor will it have the authority with which he ruled, because his kingdom will be uprooted and given to others.

An iteration of earlier prophecies about the succession from Persia to Greece and then the Diadochi.

The Diadochi consolidated the Grecian Empire into four kingdoms: Egypt, Mesopotamia, Macedonia and Asia Minor.

Egypt is in the south. This is historical record of the accurate fulfillment of the prophecy.

This is a part of the prophecy that was also fulfilled between Rome and AE IV:

"At the appointed time he will invade the South again, but this time will not be like the first. 30Ships of Kittimg will come against him, and he will lose heart. Then he will turn back and rage against the holy covenant and do damage. So he will return and show favor to those who forsake the holy covenant. 31His forces will rise up and desecrate the temple fortress. They will abolish the daily sacrifice and set up the abomination of desolation."

AE IV tried to invade Egypt at this time and was rebuffed by Rome.

Egypt is the King of the South.

The king of the south is mentioned about 6 times in Daniel 11.

According to Jesus, the abomination of desolation(spoken of the the prophet Daniel)has not been placed in Jerusalem yet.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Do you believe Jesus or Jason?

No, that is not “according to Jesus,” it is according to your  interpretation.

Secondly, who is Jason?

No,these are Jesus's words. Not mine. Not my interpretation of the abomination of desolation. This is Jesus testimony concerning the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

If the abomination of desolation were placed in 167 as Jason taught, then no one in judea would be able to see it placed in Jerusalem and no one would flee as Jesus taught.

Mathew 24

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25 Behold, I have told you before.

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

This is a part of the prophecy that was also fulfilled between Rome and AE IV:

After the 3rd kingdom of Greece comes the 4th kingdom of pagan Rome. There only only 4 kingdoms mentioned in chapters 2 and 7. There are only 3 kingdoms mentioned in chapter 8 - Medes-Persia, Greece and papal Rome (these 3 kingdoms have been identified by no less than 4 separate factors - but one of the most important is they are all identified as having "horns" or powers. The kingdom of Babylon AND pagan Rome are not found in chapter 8 - God has elected to continue His prophetic messages by including only those kingdoms and actors that continue revealing His plan of salvation.

You will not find any other kingdom in the 12 chapters of Daniel other than those that have been first revealed in chapter 2. There will be differeent symbols - transition from the parts of the metal man to four different animals in chapter 7, but the number and identify of the 4 kingdoms will never change.

Consequently, Egypt, or the 4 generals after Alexander (still within the 3rd kingdom) or ANY other kingdom - whether then or today will not be found in Daniel or Revelation.

Rome is never mentioned in Daniel. There is no unequivocal identity of the 4th kingdom and it's iteration in the feet and toes of the Precious Metal Statue. And the fact is Rome never directly succeeded Greece, the Diadochi did. It's well established historical fact Ptolemy, Cassander, Lysimachus and Seleucid were kings of their respective realms, those realms existed, and they came after Alexander.

At the time of Alexander's downfall, Rome was all thatched roofs and mud walls fighting for their life in Italy.

The four horns that arose from the great horn of the he goat isn't Rome, it's the Diadochi.

Daniel 11:29-31 is AE IV, a grandson of Seleucus I Nicator. Our example of one who commits the A of D is a Syrian king descended from the guy who ruled Mesopotamia from Babylon. I see Rome nowhere in the end time scenario.

Didn't say it had been.
