Romans 1:18-21 teaches that all (adults of course) know there is a God, "for God hath shewed it unto them" (v19). What did He show the unbelievers ("ungodly men" v18)? That creation itself is enough evidence for anyone to know there is a God (v20); then to seek Him out. "they knew God" (v21).

Regardless of what generation this passage addresses, it's the same issue throughout this life with mankind.

Hi, I suggest that there are many god's for one to to  "see".  That creation cries out does not mean that Yeshua is recognized as creator.

I heard presentations of many so called gospels and theories of beginnings and endings several times a day, daily, for years, as a director of funerals. I knew personally most of the local leaders of various competing and conflicting religious sects. Did I believe a one of them? No.

Sorry, you've lost me with your sophistry. Atheism is what it says on the label. Just talk to one and they will tell you they don't believe in God.

Not believe in Him, that's faith and trust in Him. You mean believe about Him, that He is real (Ro 1:19-21).

Hi, and thanks for the reply! Nobody can see a god that doesn't exist; and nobody will see the only God until latter.

Creation does cry out that there is a Creator. Nobody can avoid knowing He's the one and only God. He has shown to all that He is real, because all see His creative power of the universe (Ro 1:19, 20).

Hi! Notice it doesn't say anything about believing in Him, but "believe there is one God." Yes, they believe about Him, that He is real, but do not believe in Him, that would be trust and faith. They know there is a God because they see Him!

One of the greatest oxymoron concepts has to be the acceptance that one can claim to believe in God, then eventually claim not to believe in Him!  To genuinely have faith in God is not something one can eventually apostatize from, because faith always produces. Faith can be diminished but never deleted once obtained. Thus, salvation is a constant like faith!

James 1:

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Matthew 21:21 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.

Romans 14:23 But he who doubts is condemned if he eats,

because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin.

Therefore it is simple. From whence come doubts, that lead to sin? The flesh.

Therefore, the flesh must die that the Spirit makes alive. When this happens,

doubts dissolve. This is the Anointing of Daniel that I pray for

and receive when seeking to rightly divide the Word of Truth.

If any doubt this, let them offer a better explanation.

Daniel 5:12 Inasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.

Ask and you will receive. And do not doubt!

Sure, there is a difference between someone who knows God exists but refuses to worship and obey Him, and a person who is convinced there is no God.

Heb 3:12-14  Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.  (13)  But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.  (14)  For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

True, there are no reasons for doubt if you know what you seek parallels God's will and Word. There can be doubt that God will do something, which can be difficult to judge, because we may not know God's will concerning it.

This answers to us "trying the spirits whether they are of God" (1Jo 4:1). We can't go wrong if our intention is to please Him, even if we make the wrong choice about something.

Appreciate the reply! God bless!!

One may claim that they don't believe there is a God, but that's just lying to yourself. According the the below passage, one knows for sure there is a God, but they may not realize it. We can only believe Romans 1:19-20. I imagine there will be many who do not understand the actual meaning of these passages!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
