My wife does not apply her make up heavily at all. But she also does not feel properly dressed if she goes out without putting on her face. But in whole personality terms, it's the inward and spiritual emphases that really count. Philippians 4.8 says: "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." (Philippians 4.8) ; we indeed need to keep "looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, Who for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God" (Hebrews 12.2).
