Revelation 17:18

The prostitute is the city that sits on seven mountains. The only city that sits on seven mountains in the middle east is Jerusalem. The other cities of the middle east don't.

The `woman AND the mountains` are SYMBOLS. You can`t have half symbol and half real.

However, they are not a Gentile Government which is what the Final Gentile Global Government is.

False. The Israeli goverment remains in power even after the second beast is in Israel practicing the authority of the Israeli government on its behalf.

The Israeli government remains in power in Jerusalem till it is overthrown three and a half days before Christ comes and the kingdom is given to Christ at the seventh Trump.

It is explained in revelation what the woman and the heads of the beast are.

Isaiah prophecied of Jerusalem being a prostitute at the time of the end.

Isaiah 1:21

See how the faithful city has become a prostitute! She once was full of justice; righteousness used to dwell in her— but now murderers!

But your not forced to believe God.You can choose not to believe God if you want. Its your choice.

It was during the days of  Uzziah when he saw the vision. Not when the prophecy was fulfilled.

It's the same with Isaiah 14 in which he saw to he fall of Babylon , Palestinia melt and Zion founded in the days of king Ahaz.

That was when he saw the vision, not when the prophecy of  Babylon's fall, Palestina melt, and the founding of Zion is fulfilled. Those prophecies are concerning the coming of Christ.

Throughout the Bible, mountains are often used as a metaphor describing large nations, whereas hills are often used as a metaphor describing small nations.

Isaiah 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

The word mountain isn't always used figuratively.  It's used figuratively in several places like 1 Corinthians 13:2, Matthew 17:20; Matthew 21:21; and Mark 11:23.  And it's used literally in several places like Matthew 5:1; Mark 3:13; Luke 9:28; John 6:3, 15; Matthew 18:12; Matthew 24:16; Mark 5:5; Revelation 6:16, Revelation 17:9.

And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, G3735 on which the woman sitteth.

The woman is figurative of Islam and terrorism, but where she sits is on the Temple mount - AKA the abomination of the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa-Mosque.  Islam turns the temple Mount into a prostitute after the men of sin rule their end-time Caliphate from there. Seven people ruling a Caliphate of ten nations.

The temple Mt is not the prostitute. The temple Mt is one of seven mts in the vicinity of Jerusalem.

The prostitute is the children of Israel who has broken the covenant God made with Israel and  worship the beast.

Jerusalem is their mother.

Now if you want to talk about the beast that shall come up out of the abyss and attack the prostitute and bring her to ruin ,then you will be talking about Muslims because they hate the prostitute and make her naked and desolate.

Hi Stormy,

Good to discuss with you.

I agree that Islam will be the ruler of the world.

Now had you thought that the 10 kings (of Islam) get rid of the `woman?` That would be Islam getting rid of Islam. And that doesn`t make sense. (Rev. 17: 16)

The `woman` makes the `inhabitants of the earth drunk,` (Rev. 17: 2). She makes the people lose their senses - drunk. Islam doesn`t do that, it murders people.

And yes, a mountain in scripture can be literal, however it is part of a symbol relating to this worldwide religion that Islam will get rid of. (Rev. 17: 16)

God`s word tells us what the 7 symbolic mountains are - 7 kings who rule consecutively over the Global Government with the 7th being the leader of Islam. (which we seem to agree on). (Rev. 17: 9 & 10 - `7 mountains on which the woman sits, these are 7 kings...` )

Any comments on those thoughts?

@Marilyn C.... @Shilohsfoal....@Guest StormyMonday

Let's break this down.....

Rev 17:9..... Here is the mind which has wisdom.

The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits

Rev 17:10.... and they are seven kings; five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while.

The seven heads are (seven mountains on which the woman sits)

                     and they are seven kings

The seven heads ...... and they are seven kings.

So....

The seven heads are seven kings.

Five have fallen.....one is..... the other has not yet come...... and when he comes, he must remain a little while.

This is not speaking about physical mountains.

A king must have a kingdom.

The seven mountains are seven kingdoms on which the woman sits.

Here is the mind which has wisdom.

Go back and read Rev 17:1-3

Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters,

with whom the kings of the earth committed acts of immorality, and those who dwell on the earth were made drunk with the wine of her immorality.”

And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness; and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.

The "many waters" on which the harlot sits (the woman) are gentile nations.

The "scarlet beast" on which the woman sits is non other than Satan, who has, since time began, been sitting on the seven heads, ie kingdoms, with which he ruled and tried to wipe out the Jews to have the world for himself.

The seven mountains or seven hills are NOT seven mountains or seven hills.

They are kingdoms!

Satan does NOT sit on seven mountains or hills.

He has sat and is sitting on seven kingdoms.
