Recently and of course not surprisingly I've had a sad experience with a person who I genuinely had hopes for thar they truly opened their hearts and minds to Jesus

I have no doubt many of you have your HOPE in Christ Jesus for such a one and have been sadly disappointed finding " leopards do not change their spots- or probably better said thst snakes might shed their skin but they are still a snake.

I thought it might make a good Topic for discussion and not to lose HOPE for anyone but to Understand that not everyone is our Assignment,we may cross paths with some individuals just for a season or a brief moment but always for a REASON- there are times we must walk away and continue to pray- perhaps they are YET to be Enlightened and you don't have to see it- just Believe it......we are instruments,part of an orchestration - Divine Orchestration

In Ministry we encounter many hurt people,unbelievers,seekers,,trolls- all kinds.In the same way God Uses us to proclaim the Good News of Christ the enemy uses "them" ( that know not what they do)to attack US,children of God.... have a heart to forgive and know the only ONE we need to be pleasing and acceptable to is God Almighty- we are not people pleasers,we are laborers that cannot afford to waste time where your work is in vain- the harvest field is wide and the laborers are few

Ultimately we are called names,accused of not being Christian,our character is called to question -our Faith is Attacked as we are called  liars,phony or they try to manipulate,,intimidate etc not to walk away so they may continue to abuse ,use and make a Mockery of Christ - literally just to waste your time - away from where you need to be

The spirit of pride makes these feeble attempts to trigger your carnal mind that you should react,get angry,defensive and take it personally- it's not personal,it's not about us,it's about Jesus and how we are hated and persecuted for His Sake

I've come to Encourage- the enemy comes to steal ,kill and destroy- steal your Peace,kill your  Joy and destroy YOUR Faith.... pray those seeds you've been used to plant will take root,pray that soon someone else will water them-let your HOPE remain in Christ ,not what you might think was a failure

And again, remember" Forgive them just as you've been Forgiven- they know not what they do" our enemy is their enemy too only they are under strong delusion.Holy Spirit Reveals,in HIS Perfect Time❤️

Do not be discouraged.  These distractions are just that.  Satan uses whatever tactic he can in his wriggles; but, he cannot and does not win.  Onward Christian Soldiers!

Sorry that you have had a disappointing  reaction from this friend.

May I encourage you to continue to pray for this person. I would suggest that witnessing to them be left until they initiate a spiritual conversation.

Hi SIC!!!!

I'm not discouraged,how could I ever be discouraged with with Sisters like you in my life & Brothers( like you know who,lol)to Fellowship with ,lift & support one another and always speak in Psalms,Hymns and Spirital song?

Truly,I'm never discouraged by others,disappointed maybe but for the moment- my Hope is in Christ so it's highly likely I'll never see or speak with this particular person again in this mortal life,perhaps in Eternal Life because I Believe he is Called out

Awww,thank you but honestly it's no surprise and I do not take it personally.....another feeble attempt to dishearten God's Own --- very feeble attempt I might add-I started this thread to Encourage,God's Word Gives me Encouragement as I Hope others will be when they experience such treatment or harsh words,accusations etc...it's to be expected,we can feel disappointed but the disappointment is FOR those who rebel against God not BECAUSE of what they do or say against us,it's not personal though it is sad,rather pathetic

Yes,I always pray and continue to ,making intercession for them and on their behalf.....

Worse than this particular fellow I have a neighbor who will go out of his way to try to make my life miserable( like his own ,poor pathetic man).If I told you the things this person does your head would spin-its not personal,his spirits cannot stand the Presence of Holy Spirit,he's just a puppet and dead in sin,motivated and manipulated to HATE for Christ's sake..... with a heart of stone there but one thing to do-PRAY the heart be softened that he may RECEIVE,my HOPE Remains in Christ

But I'm human too and I have my days of struggling with flesh vs spirit so I must also pray for my own heart not to want to choke the man!So I'm not above anyone else when our buttons are continuously pushed morning noon and night,it can be easy to fall into temptation and " react" in the flesh -we certainly know better, run to Jesus !!!!
