I hope I don't come across as disrespectful - I honestly don't understand what this definition of "fellowship" means.

Another way that fellowship is expressed is

to be a partaker.

Spiritual blessings that overflow into the natural.

Romans 15:27 It pleased them indeed, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in material things.

Galatians 6:6 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.

Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Philippians 1:7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.

Colossians 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

1 Timothy 6:2 And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.

Hebrews 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end;

2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Fellowship implies relationships. In the case of TRUE Christian fellowship it would require everyone  being on the same page but as we all know there a many Christian doctrines. There has been bloodshed, bigotry, exclusion and oppression. In America the savage Whites in the slave states used the Bible to justify slavery. The “fellow” among them permitted them to disregard their fellowship with their  White and Black brothers in the non slave states.

IMO fellowship is a loaded word. Believers claim to have a relationship with God. Fellowship religious organizations in practice often take on the characteristics of a  club or a cult. All hell often breaks loose in bible study groups. The enemy infiltrates. Don’t be fooled.

It does when there is rivalry and self-aggrandisement.

To clarify - I've been meeting with a group for 25 years that has people who believe a variety of different nonessential doctrines.  But we are all one in Christ and focus on Him, so oneness is a natural outflow (therefore, we are actually all on the same page . . .).

Hi, Fellowship amongst Christians does not require  all be on the same page. It does require that all be kind  to one another regardless of the page one is on.

The more important commonality of the saints in Christ Jesus  is that all be in the same book, and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit for it's reveal of Jesus to  each individual, so  that each  saint in Christ  Jesus  may be enabled to honor God in all that is taken in, shared of and done to Jesus' glory.

Anyone who would justify or accept the institution of slavery is a savage. Anyone who would oppose slavery such as the abolitionist and preacher John Brown is a hero and very likely a member of the elect.

Mainstream religion doesn’t like to talk about the elect and predestination. I’m not saying all whites are savages. I’m white I’m not savage and most my friends are white and they are not savages because I don’t tolerate savages. Anyone who a justify slavery is a savage in my opinion.

Who justifies slavery today? One person is a guy named Tim Cook who is a CEO of Apple. Apple corporation uses slave labor in communist China to manufacture components for their iPhones and other products.

White southerners used the Bible to justify slavery and there’s no denying that.

You might want to listen to the words of the battle hymn of the Republic which is a very godly song. Here’s the first verse:

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord

as he trampled out the vintage where the grapes of wrath were stored.

He hath loosed the faithful lightning of his terrible swift sword.

His truth is marching on.

if you wanna understand things from my perspective listen to the battle hymn of the Republic. It is a heart and soul of every patriotic American.

To understand where I’m coming from know this. my father was a war hero. His division liberated some of the extermination camps in Nazi Germany. My half brother lost his father in World War II. This makes me the child of a war hero and a war widow. I also had three ancestors who fought in the Civil War. All three of them were snipers and officers.

Slavery is a crime against humanity and there was a time in America when we thought slavery was a bad thing but now we enable it all over the world. There was a time when America stood up for basic values but now we have abandoned that to satisfy the insatiable greed of the insatiably greedy corporations.

My father killed Nazis and he didn’t lose one wink of sleep over it. What messed him up was seeing the heaps of bodies. What messed him up was seeing the emaciated Jews who did nothing wrong to deserve what happened to them.

if you think we need the Bible to tell us what is right or wrong, you need to think again. Humans have always known the difference between white and wrong most of the time. Parts of the Bible just seemed to clarify it a bit more but so do other writings.

slavery in America was a holocaust. The people in the south are a bunch of liars for the most part. They are rewriting history by claiming that the Civil War was caused by northern aggression in spite of the fact that those hypocrites who invoke the name Jesus all the time were the ones who fired the first shots. Not all of them are savages but a large percentage of people living in the Bible belt and the United States are savages. I lived in the Bible belt for 20 years and while there were a lot of good people there there were a lot of people who were evil and definitely predestined for hell  as they pretended to be Christians. in America today, there are a lot more fake Christians than there are Christians. I have found based on my friends that some of the most Christian people I know are Jews and atheists. Go figure.

Slavery persists in an institutionalized way at

the core of Western Society and civilization.

Proverbs 22:7 The rich rule over the poor,

and the borrower is slave to the lender.

Grad students will eventually earn a ph.D

and make top dollar. While they work towards

that goal they earn pennies on the dollar

at sophisticated employment. Brilliant!

Th same can be said about the North. I spent quite a bit of time up there and have stories as bad as you describe.

Slavery was around before America was and before Christ lived on earth.

Who is speaking in these verses

Lev 25

42 For they are my servants, which I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as bondmen.

43 Thou shalt not rule over him with rigour; but shalt fear thy God.

44 Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.

45 Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.

46 And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
