May you all be blessed and renewed during this time. God loves you more than you know

I look forward to the 7th day of the week every week. Our God is so cool he chose this day to hang out with us. It's a time of renewal physically and spiritually. Elohim gave us his best and when we receive and embrace that he blesses us more.

By God's grace, as a baptized believer, I am led to identify now with the risen Christ Who fulfilled the feast of firstfruits, and not with the law containing types and shadows which pointed forward to a time when they would be surpassed by the Person and Work of the crucified and risen Christ.

"But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept." (1 Corinthians 15.20)

What of other Sabbaths?

Care to flesh out the concept  that you have of God  "hanging out"?

Mattithyahu (Matthew) 5:17-20 TS2009
[17] Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete. [18] For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one yod or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done. [19] “Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens. [20] For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall by no means enter into the reign of the heavens.

Yoḥanan Aleph (1 John) 2:3-5 TS2009
[3] And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands. [4] The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. [5] But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Elohim has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

Ya‛aqoḇ (James) 2:17-22 TS2009
[17] So also belief, if it does not have works, is in itself dead. [18] But someone might say, “You have belief, and I have works.” Show me your belief without your works, and I shall show you my belief by my works. [19] You believe that Elohim is one. You do well. The demons also believe – and shudder! [20] But do you wish to know, O foolish man, that the belief without the works is dead? [21] Was not Aḇraham our father declared right by works when he offered Yitsḥaq his son on the slaughter-place? [22] Do you see that the belief was working with his works, and by the works the belief was perfected?

Another word for it is fellowship. Elohim wants relationship with us. To spend time with us.

My post at this point was about the weekly Sabbath. There are other Sabbaths. If you wish to expound on that feel free.

Hi, I am just interested in what you are presenting.

Love is the greatest commandment. To love Elohim and our neighbor as ourselves. However, they don't abolish other commandments. In fact, Messiah said if we love him we will keep his commandments. Do you know that it was Messiah (The Word) who gave the 10 commandments to Moshe on Mt Sinai?

The law was changed (Hebrews 7.12).

What the believer now has is better than the law (Hebrews 7.19).

I find agreement for sure in your presentation  on the whole. I find I may have a take on the commandments,- that being Jesus stepped them all up, put them on steroids so to speak ,when he declared again and again  within his sermon on the mount that the thought  of doing a sin  was as much a sin as the doing of one.

I will leave the subject of whose finger scratched rock alone, for I think that should make  for a most interesting thread of it's own if and when you wish to create one.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
