And no, I don't thing fertilized eggs have souls.  A couple can produce 12 or more fertilized eggs in a year and go for years without one achieving pregnancy.  Pregnancy is the term used to describe the period in which a fetus develops inside a woman's womb or uterus.  

Around a week after the egg has been fertilized in the fallopian tube, it embeds in the lining of the uterus. By now, there are 100 cells bunched together and it is called a blastocyst. At this early point, the pregnancy hormone Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (HCG) is produced, and it is this hormone which can be detected in your urine or blood when a pregnancy test is done.  source

So no, I don't have a problem with Plan B, but if abortion is your method of birth control you may have a serious problem with God.  Again, I have no problem with such drugs in cases of rape; especially in a world where liberal judges grant paternal rights to the families of rapists.  That doesn't mean that living babies with beating hearts should be killed because someone was having unprotected sex.

Legally, abortion is a state's issue because it was never one of the enumerated rights of the federal government.  If your state outlaws all abortions and you don't like it, you are free to move.

What is your evidence for this belief?  At conception, a new, genetically unique individual is produced.  Why is that individual not an individual until he or she (sex is already determined at that point) connects with the uterine wall?

So true.  After showing what "tohu wabohu" describes in the only other 2 verses, by examining their contexts, he still rejects the clear meaning of the words and but accepts the many English translations that failed completely to accurately render them in Gen 1:2.  

And one of his sources did a good job of defining "shape" as being 2 dimensional and "form" as being 3 dimensional.  Since the entire universe is 3 dimensional, it shouldn't be controversial at all that there is no such thing as an earth that is without form.

I don't know enough Hebrew to say; it appears that you do know enough.    My point is that it really doesn't matter to salvation, unless one makes one's own interpretation into an idol that must be believed.

I know the Bible interprets itself.  The 2 Hebrew words, "tohu wabohu" poorly translated as "without form and void" in Gen 1:2 are used to describe coming disaster and total destruction of the land in both Jer 4:23 and Isa 34:11.

The contexts of those 2 verses clearly shows how Moses was using "tohu wabobu".

I've had no formal training in Hebrew but I know the Bible interprets itself and God gave us two texts that clearly show what "tohu wabohu" means.

Correct.  I simply prefer to be accurate in understanding what the Bible says.  Which is why I have no problem with the earth being much older than Adam, which has nothing to do with salvation.  

And I can agree with secularists/atheists/etc about a very old earth and show them why I believe that and believe everything in Genesis 1, which makes for a very interesting conversation.
