Those cells can be frozen and thawed, then implanted.  They cannot live on their own without a living host.  Fertilized eggs are expelled from the body regularly as well as shed uterine tissue.  There is no pregnancy until there is bonding on the uterine wall.  There CAN BE a pregnancy in the fallopian tubes, but tubal pregnancies can't be carried to term.  It's not a question of whether the cells are living.  All cells are living.  It's a question of whether a pregnancy happens.

No, I do not.  However, I think preventing pregnancies would be a better option than killing babies with a beating heart.  There has to be some limit to government authority.  In the end, we will answer to God for the things that we do.  I have no desire that one penny of my tax dollars go to fund abortion or to give birth control to children who can't purchase it themselves.  If you're not old enough to pay for birth control and support the potential life you may be creating, then you're not old enough to have sex.  There's a reason that fornication is a sin.

So you think that a minority interpretation of ancient Hebrew words 24 centuries after those words were written suddenly gain insight that even Jesus didn't know?  That's why your 19th century "revelation" is wholeheartedly rejected.  As was pointed out to you by commentary from Hebrew experts, Jeremiah was quoting Genesis, not re-writing it.

I still haven't seen any royalty checks from the Bible you claim I wrote.  Maybe if you actually READ the Bible you would learn what it says.  Jesus said, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female?  God made them.  He didn't say anything about when they evolved.  Jesus, who was there, who walked and spoke with Adam, affirmed that God made them from the beginning.  Jesus also said to obey the ten commandments, including number four which you refuse to acknowledge.

God makes it very clear what was there at the beginning.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created heaven, and earth.  2 And the earth was void and empty, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the spirit of God moved over the waters.  3 And God said: Be light made. And light was made.  4 And God saw the light that it was good; and he divided the light from the darkness.  5 And he called the light Day, and the darkness Night; and there was evening and morning one day.

Jesus is speaking of the beginning of our race, not the beginning of creation.
