Beloved ones, we heard Jesus said:

“Think not that I AM COME to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but TO FULFIL.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If we think not that Jesus is come to destroy the law, or the prophets: He is not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Beloved ones, let us think that Jesus is come to fulfill the law, or the prophets.

How JESUS IS COME to fulfill the law, or the prophets?

This, we heard:

“For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

that the righteousness of THE LAW might BE FULFILLED in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

JESUS IS COME to fulfill the law, or the prophets, for He whom God the Father sent in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin (sin offering), condemned sin in the flesh: that the RIGHTEOUSNESS of the law might BE FULFILLED IN US, who WALK not after the flesh, but AFTER THE SPIRIT.

Beloved ones, let us regard Jesus is come to fulfill THE RIGHTEOUSNESS of the law of SPIRIT OF LIFE, that walk we after the Spirit.

For we also heard Jesus said:

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK UNTO YOU, they ARE SPIRIT, and they are LIFE.”

‭‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭63‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Beloved ones, let us walk after the Spirit, that walk we after THE WORDS THAT JESUS SPEAK UNTO US, for we that walk after the Spirit: THE RIGHTEOUSNESS of the law of SPIRIT OF LIFE be fulfilled in us.

For we heard Jesus also said:

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I AM COME that they might have LIFE, and that they might have IT more ABUNDANTLY.”

‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Beloved ones, let us walk after the Spirit, that we walk after ABUNDANT LIFE OF SANCTIFICATION.

For we also heard:

”But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man APPEARED,

not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, BY THE WASHING OF REGENERATION, AND RENEWING OF THE HOLY GHOST;

which he shed on us ABUNDANTLY through JESUS Christ our Saviour;

that being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.“

‭‭Titus‬ ‭3‬:‭4‬-‭7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Beloved ones, for we that walk after the Spirit, for according to his mercy he saved us, BY THE WASHING OF REGENERATION, AND RENEWING OF THE HOLY GHOST; which he shed on us ABUNDANTLY through JESUS Christ our Saviour; that being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

And we also heard apostle Paul said:

“But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye HAVE YOUR FRUIT (fruit of righteousness) UNTO HOLINESS, and the end EVERLASTING LIFE. For the wages of sin is death; but the GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE through JESUS Christ our Lord.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Beloved ones, let us walk after the Spirit, that have we fruit of righteousness of God unto holiness and the end EVERLASTING LIFE.

Beloved ones, let us walk after the Spirit, that speak we after the word of truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ, that have we fruit of righteousness of God unto holiness and the end EVERLASTING LIFE OF SANCTIFICATION.

For we also heard:

“But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren BELOVED of the Lord,

BECAUSE GOD HATH FROM THE BEGINNING CHOSEN YOU TO SALVATION THROUGH SANCTIFICATION OF THE SPIRIT AND BELIEF OF THE TRUTH:

whereunto he CALLED you by our GOSPEL, TO THE OBTAINING OF THE GLORY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.”

‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬-14 KJV‬‬

To God the Father be all glory and thanksgiving through Christ.

Amen

Hebrews 9:16–17 (KJV)
16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

This subtle passage has a dynamic impact on scripture when you consider that the Old Testament was in effect until the cross of Christ. And that the New Testament did not begin until then:

Matthew 27:50

Mark 15:37

Luke 23:46

John 19:30

The Sermon on the Mount (Matthew chapters 5 - 7) was under the Law of Moses and not the Law of Christ (yes, Grace is Christ's Law: 1 Corinthians 9:21).

And thus the Sermon on the Mount is Jesus' own divine commentary on the Law of Moses.

Case in point: Matthew 5:27-30...

Matthew 5:27–30 (KJV)
27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

The Law of Moses: obey the Law or perish.

The Law of Christ: believe in Jesus or perish.

In fact, Ephesians 2:8-10 specifically points out that salvation in Christ is by faith and not by works of any kind.

Another example of the Law being in full force and the object of the Sermon on the Mount:

Matthew 6:15 (KJV)
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Old Testament.

Law of Moses.

New Testament Law of Christ (Grace):

John 6:29 (KJV)
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

John 16:27 (KJV)
27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

John 3:16–18 (KJV)
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Salvation sets us free but it is not free... it has the highest price ever paid (the blood of God: Acts 20:28). And while there are guidelines of godliness dating back to the 10 Commandments, the Law of Christ has only the qualifications that you are a human being and that you believe in the genuine Jesus Christ. Grace is supposed to be easy:

"My yoke is easy, my burden is light..."

"Woe to those who lay heavy burdens on others..."

@Santoso I am not sure why you have so many additional lines in-between your written comments but for me it is visually unappealing.  Also, sometimes brevity is better than longevity to get your point across.  I found myself skimming and scrolling through your lengthy comments as my time is valuable to me.  When reading theses kind of LONG comments with so much dialog I think of this:

Matthew 6:5-8 - “When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men … but when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your father who is unseen.”

I understand you are not praying but trying to get your points across.  I would love it more if you were concise and to the main point.  But of course, that is just how I like to receive my information.  I understand you are very knowledgeable.

Hi @debrakay Sometimes the format of a post does make quite a difference in the impression.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
