This turns out to be another bit of deceptive reporting!  One of those figures don't lie but liars can figure stories.  

The million plus is a total of names removed since 2021. Most were simply people that had died, or moved away from Texas, or had not voted in elections the past two election cycles.

"Mr. Abbott said around 1,900 possible noncitizens had a voting history in the state before their registrations were canceled. "  

Please note the use of the word "possible"! So what is the real story?  Seems there are just under 18,000,000 registered voters at Texas, and  in over three years of reviewing and updating records the State  has come up with a little less than 2,000 individuals that may, I repeat, may  have been illegally registered. Are those possibly 1900 illegal aliens? Maybe, but who knows? Texas doesn't know.

Now, if I were in Texas USA illegally or undocumented,  is it likely that I would risk being identified by trying to register to vote, a crime that could set me up for deportation or even a fine and or prison sentence, or would I keep a little lower profile?

California your home state is a bit different, as  some communities, Bell Gardens for one if I remember correctly  deliberately encourages voting by all residents for local offices and issues regardless of citizenship status.  

It isn't too hard to get sufficient ID acceptable at California to be issued a real ID Drivers license. A real ID Drivers license is all that is needed to register to vote. I think California DMV still encourages registering to vote right at their offices as a person gets a real ID Drivers License or  Real State ID. And that is why your vote against the Democrat party is a waste of time at California. It wil go solidly blue Statewide with 55 electors going to Harris and her baby sitter ( I do love that one, her babysitter).

I'll still trade votes, one Trump at Florida  for one Kennedy at California. So that  "we" will have a party the Unity Party  candidate on all ballots for 2028 and also 2026 at California. Giving us all a choice other than from the duopoly. It is a win win!

By the way, in terms of percentage what is 1,900 possible errant registrations out of 18,000,000 registered voters? Right at 1/10th of one percent?  Is that right? I get confused on percentages by often putting the decimal in the wrong place.

Side note "Real Id" is an absolute necessity these days for whatever it is worth. At Florida I could not just  get a driver's license renewed! I had to get  a real Id drivers license .Which meant I had to secure a official government issued raised seal birth certificate, plus have proof of car insurance, plus have a copy of a utility bill, or other proof of residency in the State . 

There are presently so many requests for raised seal birth certificates that my home State of birth was way behind in getting them out. Plus the original records from my time period were not easy for the State to come up with  either. Fire burned down  the hall of records pertaining to me.  So I drove with an expired drivers license, and documentation that I was applying for a Real ID. Ha guess that made me an illegal or a possible illegal voter too!

Just think how wonderful it will soon be when AI can just scan every live newborn and then use basic features from then on to ID everybody. (LOL)  It is going to be grand. We will all own nothing- and love it.

A question also arises as to how many, lets say it is 10,000, actually have voted in any election.  Did any, did 30%, or all?

Perhaps they get registered, as they get Texas drivers licenses ,almost automatically as at California but aren't going to ever vote on anything. Who knows at this point in time. Be nice to know if any of those that may be illegal every voted.

At any rate  if a news video has stated 6,500 illegals were found to have registered to vote it would be for different from the headline 1.1 million voters removed wouldn't it? No great drama in it if one says 6,500 compared to 1;1 million.

As I said, figures may not lie but liars can sure figure, and bloggers need compete for attention; sixty five hundred voters that may be illegally registered is pretty small potatoes out of nearly 18 million is it not? Wouldn't get too many hits on the blogger's site.

Anyway  I'm still willing to trade two rather worthless votes for two of some minute value. Wanna trade, my guy for yours?
