Again, that isn't the subject.  If it was, then JOB would have just gone and 'presented' himself before God wouldn't he?

THEY WERE UNDER THE LAW, not GRACE.

The book of Job suggests that these men of faith (sons of God) engaged in collective praise and worship, doesn't it?  Much like we do today.

And Job did worship and present himself, by himself, and his offerings to the LORD, and Job did so continually. Job 1:5.

God began dispensing grace long before Job. So, yes, Job was subject to God's grace.

I had already spoken to my belief in the indwelling therefore your question of it becomes a false witness.

Yes, but the sons of God, if human, presenting themselves before God in flesh and blood bodies and not DYING is the problem

We are flesh and blood and we present ourselves before the LORD all the time, in spirit and in truth. That is what the faithful men (sons of God) were doing in Job.

LOOK, not FLESH AND BLOOD MEN as NO EARTH YET

1Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

2Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

3Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

4Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

5Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?

6Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;

7When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

8Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?

9When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,

10And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,

11And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?

12Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;

13That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

14It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.

15And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.

If you don't understand that God is speaking in poetic terms, and that in God's omniscience He knew long before he created anything, that his faithful men (sons of God) already existed in God's mind and foreknowledge, then you'll never understand the poetic soliloquy that God is presenting in Job.

Fellow believers, one very good principle of biblical interpretation is to study the CONTEXT of any passage. When we consider Genesis 6:1-4

(Gen 6:1  When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them,
Gen 6:2  the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose.
Gen 6:3  Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.”
Gen 6:4  The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown [English Standard Version]),

the previous chapters give us the clues we need to know who the "sons of God" and the "daughters of man" seem to be.

Moses traces two genealogical lines from Adam, one through Seth, including Enoch, and the other through Cain, including Lamech. I know we often skip genealogies; but, in this case, they are important for our interpretation of Genesis 6:1-4.

(You realize, of course, that the chapter divisions were never in the original manuscripts.)

Anyway, this understanding makes what I think is the best interpretation of Genesis 6:1-4 that the sons of God are the believing line from Seth, and the daughters of men are the unbelieving line from Cain. The mixture of unbelievers and believers resulted in the earth's corruption that brought on the Great Flood. God gave Noah 120 years to build the Ark and preach the Good News about how the people could escape destruction. Sadly, people didn't listen.

IMO, if one really wants to get into the weeds on this issue, just read 1 Enoch.

They weren't very 'poetic' to Job, they were quite literal.

We are not discussing God's omniscience; we are discussing what is actually written and what actually happened in heaven and on earth.

But I have to go, so will have to respond to anything further tomorrow.

I believe the sons of God in Genesis 6 referred to angels, in particular fallen ones. That is why giants are produced as their offspring. How can mere men produce giants? Only angels, sexually interacted with mortal women, can produce giants. Goliath and many giants are offspring of sexual interactions between angels and mortal women. That is also why these angels are locked up, they are dangerous as they can sexually interact with mortals.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
