Yes, go starving. Go to a desert, or go to a forest.

And the only thing you take with you is the Bible. Stay 1 year there.

Read and obey the Bible and pray to God every day.

With no internet, with no smartphone, with no laptop.

Just you, the Bible and God.

God willing, you will get food somehow.

After 1 year your spiritual wisdom will be high.

God willing, I will do this soon. I've been planning this for a long time.

If I die, I praise God. If I survive, I praise God.

Deuteronomy 8:1-6

Deuteronomy 8:1-6

Without water you'll be dead in less than a week.

By day two, your dehydration will cause sever headaches and blurred vision. By the third day, add severe muscle cramps and wild hallucinations to the other effects. If you're still alive at day four, every body part will be extremely painful from dehydration and you won't have any strength to open your eyes.  If you're still alive at day five, you'll be comatose. By day six, if you're not dead, you are just a moment from death.

When you are hungry and when you are thirsty you will realize that you are nothing but a slave.

When you are so famished that there is no flesh left upon your bones, you will say: “I praise the Lord of all the worlds”.

You will realize that you are nothing but a worm.

We must humble ourselves, we must humiliate ourselves.

That's the way to get spiritual wisdom.

The Bible nowhere advocates the asceticism you are advocating.

This sounds like the behavior of the Gnostics and to say God willing you will get food somehow, sounds like tempting God. To go off into a forest to be closer to God and then test Him to bring you food, is wrong. Be careful of this type of fanaticism.

I am afraid of God.

I tremble before the Almighty.

I weep before Him.

We are obliged to fear Him.

Because God is the most terrifying being.

Trying to survive in the wilderness is not something anyone can do for many reason namely mental physical and then the spiritual is definitely helpful to aid one in surviving. However not everyone  is inclined to seeking the spiritual aspect of life, and not everyone is physically, mentally capable to survive alone in the wilderness.

Praise God, His yoke is easy:

Matthew 11:28-30  Christ Jesus said:

Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

I was reading here in this post the term "gnostici".

Gnostic belief  goes completely contrary to Christian beliefs..

The Gnostic god is not the christian God of the Bible. The gnostic god is Lucifer.

For instance the secret society of the freemason beleif system is gnostic. See : Albert Pike

Gnostic beliefs go contrary to Gods Word

------------------------------

Christ Jesus said: you cannot serve two master Matthew 6:2424 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon

Christ Jesus did go into the wilderness to fast to prepare for His ministry. Secondly, and more importantly, Christ went into the desert to prove that He is who He says He is; namely, that He truly is the Messiah, the Son of God, the one who has come to take away the sins of the world, who has come to do his Father's will.

In the desert, Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted by the devil. The devil tried to tempt Jesus to doubt Himself and who He was. Jesus refused each temptation, remaining faithful and humble.

Matthew 4:1-11 At that time Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. He fasted for forty days and forty nights and afterwards was hungry.

Christ Jesus came to Save humanity from eternal death=separation from God=LIFE

and through His Word taught us how to become children of God and defeat the power of evil through applying a daily living relationship with Him seeking and His Word to be born of His Holy Spirit and dying daily to the worldly flesh.

Everyday we are placed with tests of faith. Who do we serve?

Seeking God through His Word and seeking a faith ful = faith filled relationship with Him is how we choose daily to serve our Father God,and overcome sin .

Amen!  And there is, of course, something of a balance in various verses like: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;"  "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;"  "His mercy extends to those who fear Him;"  "Live your lives as strangers here in reverent fear."  (Prov 9:10, Phil 2:12, Luke 1:50, 1 Pet 1:17)

But I'm inclined to think that fear is more about the beginning of our relationship with Him, however the final intention is perfect love.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
