Psalm 101:5 whoever slanders his neighbor secretly I will destroy

Leviticus 19:16 You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not stand up against the life of your neighbor: I AM the Lord

James 4:11 Brothers and sisters do not slander one another

Clearly God has made it known how he feels of us talking ill of our fellow men and women.

As of my folly. How do I Stop? How should I begin to repent and resist Gossip? It's a temptation I fall into constantly.

Sometimes I feel as though I'm a false Christian. I struggle with these thoughts, and unsure of how I can gauge myself in accordance to God's will.

Does God think I'm on the right path despite my flaws? Or is he rebuking me for my mistakes. A major problem of The Body of Belivers is the insistent Theological strife between the bbrethren. In the past I've partook in that slander. It isn't Good

I'm scared I never truly was a part of Gods flock. How do my salvation is true? Any help would be appreciated. Where do I Go? Was I always on the broad road and not the narrow.

This is an easy fix:  Don't speak anything, good or bad, about your brethren unless you have specific permission from the person in question to share this information.  Let the other person reveal what he or she is doing/planning, etc.  Additionally, if the brethren is committing some wrongdoing, then who are you to judge?  Either way, speak way less of what others do and focus on your spirituality!

Hi, following the instructions from God should reduce greatly if not eliminate all gossip; whether it be  from your mouth  or to your ears.

Use the principle of dealing with conflicts with others of the brethren from Matthew 18. Learn it and put it into practical use:

If there is conflict go to the party involved first! Say  "I have a issue involving you  I have need to resolve, please help me to do so now."

If a rumor gossip or charge about a saint come so you from lips of another, stop the messenger immediately saying "Stop we need to have  (The person being  mentioned)  present  for this so they can hear and deal with this directly. Let's get them right now !" and follow through.

Read Matthew 18, study Matthew 18, memorize what you can of Matthew 18, and  then boldly in prayer with thinking follow through praying to God for  best use of it's command. You will almost immediately have no more rumors, slanders, or gossip coming your way. Plus your own mouth will not let your heart/mind/spirit fall victim to stating  any slander. It will choke up first.

You will indeed have opinion as well as  make judgements; that is necessary for living life other than by being a fool without discernment, but you will have procedure from God at hand  in your heart and mind to  never be that slander again, nor an enabler of slanderers.

May God bless your study  and effort to learn and put it into practice.

Thank you so much for the advice. I have gotten to the point where I avoid Blasphemies, as well swear very little. It does slip up but overall a vast improvement over my life as a non believer.

Now it's time to tackle this ❤️ With God's help

Hi, Just keep in mind the freedom we each have for nowhere does God say "park your brain". Plus there is great humor, some strong will expressions, God has had placed within his word the Bible too.

Paul's perhaps exasperated, but at least emphatic and bold humored statement, - he wished "they would go the whole way" Galatians 5:12  as example.

No need to become humorless, nor flavorless, without character, be real not unflavored Jello. Relax and may God bless.

Are you talking about rumor or truth?  Is it positive, neutral, or negative?  Sometimes it's best to not say anything.  Sometimes it's addressing something important and for the benefit of a person and other times it can be detrimental or malicious.  Ask for discernment in knowing the difference and how to respond or not.

Part of the sanctification process is growing in the understanding of God's Word...
The begin:
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

[6] But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Knowing what faith is:
Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

[11:1] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faiths total substance is born out from Scripture/God's Word:
Romans 10:17 (KJV)

[17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The whole of God's purpose is to restore to us the absoluteness of His Word given to us... it was lost when we listened to satan in the garden:
Genesis 3:4 (KJV)

[4] And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Whenever we try to generate faith it is always in something other than His Word like: works, values, goodness, strength, world, body etc... God says a thing it cannot be anything other that what He has said:
Hebrews 6:18 (KJV)

[18] That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

Do you believe this?
John 1:12 (KJV)

[12] But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

[13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

[14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

What is gossip?

Gossip is idle talk or rumor, especially about the personal or private affairs of others;

What is not gossip:

1. Seeking advise. If a Christian is seeking guidance.

2. Whistle blowing. Reporting serious misconduct or abuse to the proper authorities to

protect others.

3. Sharing information to protect others. If you are warning someone about a danger or

harmful situation involving another person.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
