Should Paul's writings be ignored?

The 1st question asked was "Should we ignore Paul's writings?"

So is his writings considered scripture? The Bible says that all scripture is God breathed...so if it is, we must consider his writings as important as all others in the Word.

2 Pet 3:14So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. 15Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

Peter tells us here that Paul's writings are scripture so we know we better here what Paul says..........................anything after this now is the process of being a christian.

Seek God on these things........he will show you what to do with these hard to understand scriptures. We're not perfect but we serve one who is.........he is faithful and will complete the work he started in you. It's called growing in grace and you are having some growing pains..............we all are. Just keep on goin!!

Paul's writings are the truth, if there won't then he would not have been allowed to write the most books in the new testament. I think the problem we have hear is understanding what Paul's intentions are which is to prepare the followers of Christ for his return, that blessed hope.

1Thes 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Cor 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Ro 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

DOK the last thing Paul would want to happen to you is that you are not prepared to meet God, all he is doing is help you to better yourself before that day.

God love extends to all man but he just want the best from his people. Hope this helps.
