This apparent contradiction exists because the true names and titles were removed from the Scriptures. Briefly, Moses, Aaron and 72 elders of Israel saw Elohim (Exodus 24:9,10). Yahshua said no one has seen the Father, Yahweh (John 1:18). Father, Yahweh - Spirit in abstract invisible state (John 4:24, Acts 17:28). He took on visionary shape and form (in part) as Elohim, Word, Christ (Exodus 24:9,10; ). In this form He appeared to the prophets. Later Elohim became flesh (John 1:1-14).

A rose is a rose no matter what you call it, names is not anything I care to fuss about.

This is an interesting back and forth on this!

Ok check me on this one, ok?

I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and was born again and He came within me to live. He promised that He would never leave me, or forsake me, right? Ok so if the Holy Spirit is the essence of Jesus then Jesus is inside of me too...

And scripture says that Jesus said, I am in the Father and the Father is in me, right? So that can only mean that I have Father, Son and Holy Spirit inside of me at all times.

I usually invite Jesus to go with me when I go into the world for errands. But it would seem, that whe I do that, I have an entourage with me. Father, Son, Holy Spirit, at least one Guardian Angel, right? And probably a Scribe Angel too, to record my words and such.

That's an Entourage, Brother!

Yes, I would agree.  Jesus wanted us to be one with him as he is the Father, so we could be one with them all.

I don't really discuss it with others, but for years sometimes my pronouns are also we.  I can't count the times at work I have said to people that we are going to do something, meaning the three of us.   My work with Xerox was not a simple thing most of the time, and I would often talk things over with the Holy Spirit to get ideas on how to fix things.   Sometimes my mouth would be connected with me spiritually and the conversation would be out loud.  Many times, especially at Tinker AFB, the night person would ask me who I was talking to and was relieved when I told her the Lord.   That building where we had equipment that ran 24/7 was the World War II morgue for the AFB, and there are spirits there that interface with people, and they were worried I'd gone over to the dark side. LoL.

The Creator is not a rose, and Yahweh's thoughts are not Shakespeare's thoughts (Isaiah 55:8,9). This is between each of us and the Creator. Could you show me in the Bible where His Name does not matter? That we can call Him as we want?

This is going nowhere. So, if I don't use the name you say I need to will I go to hell?

What does that mean? Is it a gender pronoun?  I always thought it meant himself or herself and another person. Unless you're a writer or King or something like that that refers to themself as we.

I'm just, not up on the many modern usages of the word and was curious how you were using it? I have used the term We professionally before. I was in business and didnt always want the customer to know that I am the owner. SO I'd say, we can install this for you Friday or whatever instead of I can do it. Speaking as myself and or the company.

No Brother. It's all about respect and reverence to the Lord. Like when you go to court, your are required to call the judge, Your Honor or at the very least, Sir.

In my dream about the Father, I was told to approach him in different ways. He has 1000 names! But this time, when you pray, are you approaching your Healer Lord?  Or are you approaching Him as a Judge, asking Forgiveness, Have you ever approached Him like do you your friends on earth? As your Daddy?

He likes to be approached in these different ways because He is different things for us.

And to learn about what and why, study on some of all those different names that He has and perhaps you may glean some insight into, Why it is good to approach the judge sometimes and your Best  Friend sometimes.

I wouldnt want to be careless in How I approach Him. I used to be! But, He taught me that there is a better way that pleases Him more.

I read a paperback book one time called, The Nine Billion Names Of God...and it was pretty good. It wasnt biblical but it was about God's names, and a group of monks somewhere who bought a supercomputer which could list and print, the 9 billion names of God. No more spoilers, sorry, lol.

My gender pronoun is considered dirty to some people, so I can't use it here.  He/Him is the first two out of three.

I can relate to this. I tend to thank God out loud as it seems relevant and find myself asking for guidance on things like where I put something.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
