If Mosts, Aaron and 72 elders of Israel saw Yahweh and Jesus said no one on earth has ever seen the Father, how can you say that the Father is Yahweh.   That would make Jesus a liar.

My problem is that Yahweh is not the father.

Didn't Jesus say, if you have seen me, you have seen the Father? I think He did!

I had a dream one time and in it I had been taken up in spirit to visit Hevaen and to talk with the Father. But we didn't go to the throne room. It was like a house (big house) and an Angel took me there. I was waiting to see the Father and standing beside the Angel and I could see into the adjoining room and it was like a press conference going on. I could see the Father answering people's questions, and when He finished answering them, it was a minor roar of people asking and waving their hands, and He would pick one and speak with them like in a press conference. I was watching Him through the doorway and waiting and then the Father looked over at me and winked, and made some sort of gesture meaning, I'm hurrying, there's so many!

I tell you what, when the Father winked at me, it hit me hard! I felt like I was superman or something! Father God of all Creation winked at me! (Super cool).

Eventually I did get to see Him and I don't really remember what we were talking about when I'd ask questions, Father, what about this? What about that. And I had called Him Father and trying to be very reverant while speaking to Him, and all of a sudden He said to me, Don't call me that, call me Abba...

I wondered why He said that. and it came to me as revelation. He doesn't want to be approached as a Judge all the time. He wanted me to approach Him as Abba. Likewise, when we approach Him for healing, approach the Physician, and so forth. That was...enlightening to me. It occurs to me how many ways we can approach Him! A our Savior, as our Healer, as our Protector and  many many more ways. I never thought about that before having that dream.

I woke up after that.

That is not saying that he is the Father, but that he is exactly like him.  That's where the word essence comes in from the description of the Trinity.

Yes, and it's very clever how that works. One of the cleverest things ever to be.

Such a sweet, transcendent, harmonious, demonstration of God's investment in humanity.

Off the top of my head, un my study of the trinity awhile back, I walked away from it believing that the Holy Spirit is the very essence of God.

Almost like He poured Himself out unto us humans, right?

That's what I thought. And then it gets even deeper! If the disciples were able to have to ask the Lord show us the Father, and Jesus said, but if you know me then you know the Father. So that sort of suggest that the disciples were not very bright and didn't know Jesus yet very well. Because no man comes to the Father except through Me (Jesus). So it sounds like they were about as bright as modern man, lol.

When Jesus was baptized, the three were present all at the same time.  Speech, physical and in the form of a dove.  Three entities, one focus.  All three are that essence. And, our God, being of three distinct personages, is one essence.  Most people have the trouble because they don't understand god being one.  It is one essence, not one being.   Actually some people's god is money, or cars, or sex, or two of my friends is themselves.

It is hard to define what the essence of God technically means.

BTW they can't say they don't know the Father.   And if we are saved and the Holy Spirit resides in us, I think I can safely say that we have no excuse for not knowing the Father.

This is an interesting back and forth on this!

Ok check me on this one, ok?

I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and was born again and He came within me to live. He promised that He would never leave me, or forsake me, right? Ok so if the Holy Spirit is the essence of Jesus then Jesus is inside of me too...

And scripture says that Jesus said, I am in the Father and the Father is in me, right? So that can only mean that I have Father, Son and Holy Spirit inside of me at all times.

I usually invite Jesus to go with me when I go into the world for errands. But it would seem, that whe I do that, I have an entourage with me. Father, Son, Holy Spirit, at least one Guardian Angel, right? And probably a Scribe Angel too, to record my words and such.

That's an Entourage, Brother!

This apparent contradiction exists because the true names and titles were removed from the Scriptures. Briefly, Moses, Aaron and 72 elders of Israel saw Elohim (Exodus 24:9,10). Yahshua said no one has seen the Father, Yahweh (John 1:18). Father, Yahweh - Spirit in abstract invisible state (John 4:24, Acts 17:28). He took on visionary shape and form (in part) as Elohim, Word, Christ (Exodus 24:9,10; ). In this form He appeared to the prophets. Later Elohim became flesh (John 1:1-14).

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
