However, this is characteristic of cultural Christianity, a religion that professes the name of Christ but is far from Him. It's a nationalistic belief that God blesses a nation of this earth above others when clearly, wickedness and murder are their ways. Theft is how they acquire what they possess.

That is not unique to one culture nor nation. It's the rule, my friends.

Lots of assumptions there I think. I simply believe this..

Pr 14:34  Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

I did not start a political thread, is  for what is in your mind about it or something.

In like manner, voting is not a God-given right;

I see good things given as God given. Good government....

I am tired of being told to exercise the power of my vote to good, is a worldly thing.

Sometimes I think the saying applies

Some are so heavenly minded they cannot do any earthly good.

To me this is no different than saying to someone who is sick, just pray it is worldly to take medicine.

I did not start this thread about politics, but to be called worldly for my views on it put me here.

And just what makes you think, this will protect against woke? Woke is about the "whole child's need".

Godly parents should raise up their children in a Godly way, in the truth using God's word. That is the best defense against woke culture.

Godly parents also have to work to put a roof over their kids heads, feed and clothe them. Many cannot be home all day.

Not only that they pay in taxes for Education. So I don't know why you would defend that as Godly or even righteous in any way. Take their money to sexualize their children? nooooo

You prefer sending our young impressionable children to public school for lgbtq indoctrination?

Many make sacrifices to home school because they know there is no hope in the worldly education system.

That it is worldly to vote. You don't think it is important then don't do it. Let parents pay for our children to be sexualized. What about parents that have to work and cannot home school do they get that money back?

Many cannot feed their kids without working. This is like those who say it is worldly to take medicine. But all the while not caring they have to pay for that medicine. Who is worried about politics here?

What is it you do not get here?

Why pay for that? They already take our tax dollars to pay for this...The least you could do is acknowledge that. Or is that to political and worldly for you, to ask or expect our money not be used for that?

Well, it's not an accusation; it's a fact.  When you vote you're voting for men that are worldly.  And when you vote for worldly men, you're showing partiality or respect for one man over another. According to the Bible, when you do so, you commit sin. (James 2:9).

The entire culture is corrupt, all men are sinners that have fallen short of God's glory.  Change will only come to a lost sinner when they are born again.  If they stay lost, then they go to hell.  If you think you can change the hearts of men by voting in one man versus another, you're dreaming.  Only God can change the heart and disposition of sinful man.

Bad analogy.

Efforts in elections are worldly,  both running for office and voting for office holders.

I pay my taxes because that is what Jesus instructs us to do: "Give unto Caesar..."

But don't forget that Jesus also said this: "Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the Gospel's, the same shall save it. For what shall  it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul."  (Mark 8:34-36).

May your efforts be likewise.  Peace

Not.

Paul was a rea:no_idea:lly worldly guy....

Ac 25:10  Then said Paul, I stand at Caesar’s judgment seat, where I ought to be judged: to the Jews have I done no wrong, as thou very well knowest.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
