Only those Jews that are blind rejected and continue to reject Messiah Yeshua. The faithful remnant of Israel accepted Messiah Yeshua as the Son of God and received Him as Savior, and the faithful remnant continue to do so.

I believe the little horn in Daniel 7 is the beast in Revelation 13 and 17, and that the Daniel 7 prophecy has a dual implication, the first occuring when Antichus IV reigned and persecuted the Jews, destroyed and desecrated the Temple, and was himself later destroyed.  The second occurring in the end of days according to John's prophecy in Revelation.

The commonalities of this dual prophecy are striking: the little horn is called a beast, it persecutes the saints, it is given 3½ years to reign, it desecrated the temple and causes an abomination of desolation, and it is destroyed by the Lord.

When the Jews who handed Jesus over to Pilate threatened Pilate after Pilate tried to release Yeshua, the Jews said, "We have no king but Caesar."  The Jews then continued to be complicit with Rome in the persecution of Messiah Yeshua. The complicity between Jews and Rome in crucifying Messiah Yeshua was steadfast.  The glaring difference between the Jews and Rome today is that Jews still reject Messiah Yeshua and continue to persecute the body of Christ, and Rome/Vatican has faith in Messiah Yeshua and promotes the body of Christ.

Yes.  It's called the  antichrist system, which you find in every world religion, such as:  Judaism, talmudic Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Taoism, humanism, Darwinism, atheism, agnosticism, et alia.

The Roman Catholic church is founded on the Christian faith. Though it gets some things wrong, so does every single denominational and nondenominational congregation on earth. But they (RCC) preach and teach faith in Messiah Yeshua, crucified died buried and resurrected for the forgiveness of sins and the salvation of souls.

The RCC might be heterodox in some teachings, but heterodox is not heresy, and if not heresy then not antichrist, and if not antichrist then Christian.

To be clear: there are people born in Christ in every denomination under the sun, including in the RCC.  And to be just as clear, not all who say they are born again in Christ are in fact born again in Christ, and that also includes every denomination under the sun, including baptists, nondenominational evangelicals, and the RCC.

Peace

Once again, I would greatly and respectfully request that you go and truly study the book of Daniel - it does provide all we need to identify him, when he came, why he did what he did, how long he will continue, how he will be destroyed by God at His second coming.

Your continued refusal to look and consider all the things the little horn has done over the past 1500 years is mindboggling to me. These abominations against God, his church, and His people are NOT something to skip over and respond with a comment that every denomination has its flaws.... there is only one that claims divinity, only one that claims to forgive sin, only one that rewrites God's commandments....  Only one that has murdered over 50 million people should they refuse ot worship and obey the papacy and their teachings - and this includes other Christians....

Instead of having a back and forth on the papacy, I would ask you to study the book of Daniel completely - from the first chapter to the twelth... Try and locate the literal hundreds of pieces of the puzzle you have  yet to find a home for and put your effort into finding their place within the field of the puzzle. You will be amazed at the picture on the outside of the box. But millions if not billions refuse or are unable to do so... so will paint their own picture on the ouside of the box without placing those 1000 pieces of the puzzle together... I will admit just how difficult and so many times seemingly impossible to put them in their proper place, but it can be done. And as I mentioned earlier, each piece will have its own place adjacent to the other pieces in the puzzle - no empty spaces, no need to force them into the wrong spaces because of our predetermined interpretations - just look for the clues and words that came from the mind of God who painted this unbeliveable picture.

By the way, God's church, not the Christian church, but the church that was "set up" and established by Jesus was His church that was based on the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus. Period.

His apostles were sent out into the Gentile world to preach these two things and provide them with the opportunity to learn about and worship and obey the One true God - the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob... and their Messiah, Jesus. It wasn't until the end of t he 6th century AD when the papacy succeeded the pagan Roman Empire and sat atop the 4th beast kingdom. Read and study Daniel 7 and 8 and you will see their progression - they began in chapter 7 ONLY AFTER THE CROSS, and they began only after they followed the 10 horns out - AGAIN, AFTER THE CROSS. But they were a very small group that grew exponentially until they supplanted the Roman Empire. They appropriated God's church, they corrupted His church, they placed themselves about God, claimed God's divinity and power and demaned worshop and obedience only belonging to the One who was on that cross.

Look at the book of Daniel as God would view it - He wrote it knowing what would take place after the cross. as well as all the events and activities that literally took place from the time His people were exiled in 606 BC to the time of the cross.

Study Daniel please... not listen to my opinion or what you see in today's commentaries or studies - there is no consensus among the scholars, academics or theologians regarding the book of Daniel - they are all over the board because they too failed to place so many hundredes of pieces of the puzzle in their appropriate place in the Daniel puzzle... they filled it with their conjecture or what other verses in the NT - especially Revelation seem to say... God has given us the book of Daniel first to understand and interpret - it will then allow us to see clearly Matthew, Revelation, etc.

Here is my placement of the Prophetic pieces in thee Book of Daniel"

The Prophesies of Daniel

Daniel 2:20-22 Blessed be the Lord’s Name [Jesus] from age to age, for to Him belong wisdom and power. He changes seasons and times, He deposes and sets up kings. He gives wisdom

to the wise and knowledge to those with discernment, revealing deep mysteries: in Him there is light and understanding.  Proverbs 8:12-29

Daniel 2:31-33 In your dream, your majesty, you saw a great image. The head of the image was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron and its feet of part iron, part clay.

The Assyrian Kingdom – [Sargon]

Daniel 7:4 The first beast was like a lion with eagles wings, then its wings were removed and it stood on two feet like a human. It was given the mind of a human.

[This kingdom had already passed by the time of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. It conquered and sent into exile the ten Northern tribes of Israel]

The Babylonian Kingdom – [Nebuchadnezzar]

Daniel 2:38 You king Nebuchadnezzar, are that head of gold.

Daniel 7:5 The second beast was like a bear, it raised itself up on one side and it had three ribs in its mouth. The command was given: Get up and gorge yourself on flesh. [The Babylonian conquest of Judah]

The Media/Persian Kingdom  [King Cyrus]

Daniel 2:32 & 39a...its chest and arms of silver...After you another kingdom will arise that will be inferior to yours

Daniel 8:3-4 & 20 The ram with two horns, Persia and Media.

The Macedonian [Greek] Kingdom. [Alexander the Great]

Daniel 2:32 & 39b ...its belly and thighs of bronze....Next a third kingdom of bronze will rule over the whole earth.

Daniel 7:6 The third beast was like a leopard with four wings like a bird, it had four heads and was given authority to rule. [Alexander’s conquest of the known world]

Daniel 8:5-8 & 20-21 The defeat of the Babylonian Empire, by Alexander. Daniel 11:2

Daniel 8:9-14 & 22 After Alexander’s death, four kingdoms are formed.

Daniel 11:3-4 One of those kings, Antiochus Epiphanes, succeeded in conquering the holy Land and he desecrated the Temple. 2 Maccabees 5:13-20 Then Judas Maccabaeus defeated him. 2 Maccabees 8:16-24 Then they rededicated the Temple. 2 Maccabees 10:1-8 The 2300 evenings and mornings; actually 1150 days, was the time between the desecration and rededication of the Temple, circa 167BC to 164BC. This is a precursor to what will happen in the last days.

Daniel 11:5-20 This is a description of other historical battles and alliances.

The Roman Empire – [Julius Caesar]

Daniel 2:32-33 & 40 Finally there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron, it will dominate all the others, but as its legs represent, this will be a divided kingdom – its people will be a mixture, it will not remain united. [The Western and Eastern Roman Empires]

Daniel 7:7a & 23 The fourth beast, fearsome and very powerful with great iron teeth, crushed and devoured its victims, then trampled what was left.

Daniel 9:26 After sixty two weeks, [434 years] the anointed Prince, [Jesus] will be removed and the army [of Rome] will destroy the city and the Temple. [As fulfilled in 70AD.]

The Fourth Kingdom: A Last Days resurgence of Rome – [the Anti Christ]

Daniel 2:33 & 42-43...its feet of part iron and part clay....

Daniel 7:7b-8 ... the fourth beast had ten horns, another horn grew up and uprooted three of the ten. That other horn was very imposing and spoke with great power. As I watched this horn waged war on the holy ones and defeated them. Rev 17:12-13, Rev 13:5-8

Daniel 7:23-24 The explanation is this: This fourth kingdom will take over the whole earth, [The One World Government] The ten horns signify the ten divisions of the world, but another man will arise  and defeat three of the first leaders.

Daniel 11:21 Another king will come, a person not worthy of recognition, but he will seize power by intrigue and cunning.  [a clever and charismatic man]

Daniel 8:23-25 In the last days, when sin is at its height, a powerful king and a master of strategy will arise. He will succeed in whatever he does and will take control of the nations and the holy people. [all the faithful Christians, gathered in all of the holy Land] By cunning and deceit, he will destroy many when they felt secure and did not expect it. He will challenge the ‘Prince of princes’, [the Lord] yet he will be defeated, but not by human hand.

Daniel 9:27 The prince, [The world leader, descended from Rome] will make a treaty with many, [that is: not all of the Christians] for one week, [that is: seven years] but at the mid point, he will put a stop to the sacrifices and offerings. [in the new Temple]  He will place an ‘abomination’ there, then in the end what has been decreed will come on him.

Daniel 7:25 He will defy God and take control of the holy people for 3½ years. [This is the ‘beast’ of Revelation 13:1-8. The One World leader receives a ‘mortal blow’ and his body is taken over by Satan, commencing the ‘forty two months’ Tribulation period]

Daniel 11:22-45 His army will be victorious and a leader of the Covenant people will be killed. The military forces of the South will be defeated and he will invade the Middle East, but ships of the Western nations will oppose him, so he will turn back. In the holy Land, he will vent his fury against the people who hold to the Covenant, but will show favour to those who forsake it by believing his promises.  His soldiers will desecrate the Temple, setting up an ‘abomination of desolation’. Those of the Lord’s people [Christians] who remain faithful to the Lord, will be resolute and take action. Wise leaders of the nation will guide their people, though for a time some may be killed or captured. They will receive a little help, as many who join them are insincere. This is a period of testing, of refining and purification, for the end is yet to be; at the appointed time. Daniel 7:9, Daniel 8:22, Rev. 13:8

Daniel 11:36-45 This powerful world ruler will do as he pleases, he will promote himself as god, uttering terrible blasphemies. Things will go well for him until the time of wrath is completed. [The Tribulation] Near the end, the leader of a Southern confederation will attempt to attack him, so he storms out in full force, sweeping all before him, including the holy Land. He will take control of all Arabia and take their treasure. Then, alarmed by rumours from the North and East, he will hurriedly go back to Israel and camp in the valley of Megiddo, where he will meet his end.  Daniel 7:11, Revelation 19:17-21

The Kingdom of Jesus                                           2 Samuel 22

Daniel 2:34-35 & 44-45 I saw a supernatural Rock that smashed the statue, it blew it away like chaff. Then that Rock became a huge mountain that filled the whole earth. God will set up a Kingdom that will be supreme over all other kingdoms and it will endure forever.

Daniel 7:13-14 & 26-27 The Return of Jesus for His Millennium reign. Gods judgement is against the Anti Christ and his kingdom is abolished. The governance  of the whole world is given to the holy people of God.   Revelation 20:6

Daniel 12:1-4 At the end of that time, [the Tribulation] Michael, the Archangel of Israel will appear, he will deliver the Lord’s people – everyone whose name is written in the Book of Life. Many of the dead will rise, some to eternal life, some to eternal abhorrence. The wise leaders, those who guided the people on the true path, will shine like stars forever.

But you, Daniel, keep this book sealed until the time of the end. Many will try, but will not succeed to gain this knowledge.

Daniel 12:5-10 I asked: How long until the end of these things? It will be for 3½ years, [1260 days] when the holy people regain their strength. I asked: What will the outcome of all this be? Go your way, Daniel, for these prophesies are to be kept secret until the time of the end. Many people will be purified and made righteous, but the godless will keep on in their wickedness and none of them will understand.  Daniel 8:22

Daniel 12:11-12 From the time the Anti Christ sets up the ‘abomination of desolation’, there will be 1290 days. Blessed are those who see the completion of 1335 day                              Reference: REB, NIV, KJV. some  verses condensed.

Thank you for putting this together, but it did not take me too long to see that you have quickly gone out of order of the chapters in Daniel.

You being with 7:4 claim that is the kingdom of Assyria.. then you reference 2:38 as the kingdom of Babylon? So, I am assuming Babylon and Nebuchadnezzar is the second kingdom that will refer to the second kingdom in 7:5 - the bear?

I don't mind going throught Daniel with you verse by verse, but I do believe you should follow the order God has presented the kings and kingdoms - that is the easy part.... So, even before we move on past these few comments regarding the first two kingdoms, we must establish that God has placed order and consistency in these prophecies, and He does not contradict Himself.

To beginf, should you want to do so here is two  narratives that preceed the beginning of the commentary / verse discussions for the 49 verses in Daniel, Chapter 2:

1) The first one is an attempt to prepare a introduction narrative to chapter 2 as if God wrote it Himself.

2) The second is my narrative or introduction for chapter 2 - how I view it.

These are presented here and in the commentary in front of every chapter to give the reader a big picture sense on what they will  find within the following chapter.... like a God's vies and my view or overview.

Here is the God's narrative for chapter 2

To my Beloved Children,

GOD’S BLUEPRINTS

I am the Revealer of Mysteries, the One who speaks before events come to pass. Before the foundations of the earth, I established My kingdom, unshaken and eternal, and in time, I have allowed earthly kingdoms to rise and fall according to My will. Kings believe they rule by their own strength, yet they do not see that I set them in place and remove them in My appointed time.

Nebuchadnezzar, the mightiest king of his day, saw in a dream what I had already decreed—a statue of many metals, each part representing the course of history. But the wisdom of Babylon could not unveil its meaning, for human power cannot comprehend divine purpose. Only I reveal mysteries, and so, I made known through My servant Daniel what was hidden from the wise of this world.

The head of gold—Babylon, the kingdom of power and conquest, where I sent My people into exile, not as prisoners, but as My witnesses. In Babylon, I displayed My sovereignty above all gods, silencing the enchanters and the wise men, and proving that no earthly throne can overrule My decree. Babylon sought to elevate human kingship, but its pride would crumble, for a kingdom built on gold is still built on sand.

The chest and arms of silver—Medo-Persia, the empire of laws and decrees, where My people would be tested. In its courts, Daniel was thrown to the lions, and through its rulers, I made a way for My temple to be rebuilt. Persia believed in its own justice, but true righteousness belongs to Me alone.

The belly and thighs of bronze—Greece, the kingdom of knowledge and philosophy, where men sought wisdom but did not seek Me. They exalted the reasoning of man above the truth of God, yet it was in their language that My Word would be carried to the nations. Their conquest was swift, their influence vast, but even the mightiest ideas of men fade before eternal truth.

The legs of iron—Rome, the empire of unyielding power, that would build the greatest of earthly structures and claim dominion over all. It was in this kingdom that the King of Kings would come, not in the grandeur of palaces but in humility and sacrifice.

Rome, with all its armies, could not contain the kingdom I was establishing—a kingdom not of this world, but one that would grow from the faith of a few into a movement that would cover the earth. Rome’s legions enforced its rule with iron, but within its dominion, I revealed My people—the clay encased within the feet of the image.

They, My chosen ones, were set apart from Rome, yet they lived under its control. And in the fullness of time, I sent My Son, the Messiah, the Stone cut without human hands, to strike the feet of the image. This was no mere act of destruction, but a separation—a breaking apart of the iron and the clay. For within Rome, My people were divided, and at the coming of My Son, that division was made clear.

Those who recognized Him as their Messiah became as pottery clay, soft and moldable in My hands, ready to be shaped for My purposes. They would go forth into the world, preaching the Good News, proclaiming the kingdom that will never end. But those who rejected Him remained as ceramic clay—hardened, resistant, unable to be reshaped, destined to remain part of the fractured empire that would ultimately crumble.

This is My blueprint, My divine pattern for history and salvation. The image I revealed to Nebuchadnezzar defines the four and only four kingdoms that will arise from the sea. There are no others, nor shall there be. These are the external and internal boundaries of My revelation, the framework within which all interpretations must remain. As with all of My Scriptures, nothing is to be added, and nothing is to be taken away. No human wisdom may alter the kingdoms I have set in place, nor may any nation, people, or empire be inserted where I have not placed them. My decree is final, My Word unshaken.

All that I have spoken must be understood within these four kingdoms, for they are the structure upon which My prophetic truth is built. To depart from them is to depart from My order, My design, My revelation. Many will attempt to reshape what I have established, but their efforts will be in vain. The boundaries I have set must be honored, for they are the framework through which My purposes unfold.

And the vision does not end with the separation of My people—it points to what is yet to come. For the Stone that struck the feet of the image will become a great mountain and will fill the whole earth. This is My kingdom, the kingdom that will never be destroyed.

Though My people have walked through the fires of Babylon, the decrees of Persia, the philosophies of Greece, and the rule of Rome, I have been with them. I have preserved them. And one day, I will reign in their midst, and all other kingdoms will be no more.

Let the nations understand: their strength is fleeting, their dominion temporary. I alone establish kings and remove them. I alone hold the future. I alone reign forever, and I am with you always.

With unshakable dominion,

The One who reveals mysteries and establishes kingdoms

Here is the my narrative for chapter 2

Introduction to Chapter 2

God’s blueprints

Chapter 1 serves as an introduction to the first few years in Babylon and concludes with a declaration affirming that Daniel and the Jews will remain in captivity for another seventy years, up to the first year of King Cyrus. Chapter 1 is a succinct, matter-of-fact historical beginning to the Book of Daniel. It does not include mysterious dreams or visions, nor does it have any complex or confusing symbols or imagery. The opposite happens to be the case in Chapter 2, which turns out to be one of the Bible's most intriguing and thought-provoking prophetic chapters. Nebuchadnezzar's dream, in which he saw a frightening image of a large metal-man, takes up all of this chapter.

Nebuchadnezzar was unable to remember what he had dreamed. Only through the grace and power of Daniel’s God were the dream and its significance revealed to him. Daniel received this revelation from God through a night vision. The four kingdoms where all of the prophesied events would take place over three time periods were revealed in the dream and its interpretation sequence. Before going into the details of the forty-nine verses contained in this chapter, it is important to make a few comments about the methodology and approach that result in these interpretations for Chapter 2 as well as the framework for the other chapters in Daniel.

First, Chapter 2 identifies four kingdoms from the time of Babylon to the end of time. Within this chapter, Daniel provides the external and internal boundaries and borders for these four kingdoms. Each kingdom will include its own individual actors and series of events that stay within their respective borders with no "bleeding" of the actors or events between them. Essentially, Chapter 2 is a detailed drawing of His plan of salvation for the Jews and mankind that includes its own set of restrictions and guidelines.

It is no different than a complex physical building's layout; we must respect its structural blueprints and actual proportions and make sure we do not stray outside the lines, whether they are outside the metal-man image or between each of the kingdoms. Throughout the remaining ten chapters, this "structure" will limit our interpretations within its confines.

Similar to a plan, once the blueprints have been approved, there is no going back and changing them. And it's crucial to keep in mind that the structure is not the story.

Second, there is no need to interpret these verses using extrabiblical sources, but there will be a few external references presented. Although it would be easy to compare these four kingdoms to the records we have of the past, that approach would not end there. Instead, the method of relating these verses to our historical figures and events would quickly backfire, with the people and the events in our historical accounts coming to define the significance and interpretations of God's prophetic verses. They might soon take the lead in deciding the interpretations that seem to fit. Chapter 2 (and the remaining ten chapters) interpretations have been sourced from the Book of Daniel or the Tanakh. Consequently, there is no possibility of man’s records getting into and corrupting God’s Word

This does not suggest these particular interpretations are exactly what God had in mind, but He has provided us with all the information within these chapters and verses and within the earlier books in His Scriptures to obtain and find His prophetic messages. God’s prophetic verses are far more accurate and complete in every way than our history books.

Chapter 2 is one of the most difficult and puzzling chapters in Daniel. However, its importance cannot be overestimated.. Since it serves as the blueprint, it is critical that we are able to read, understand, and interpret these guidelines because they serve as a sound foundation for interpreting the next ten chapters. Get this wrong, and it will send us off in one of many false interpretational directions. It will not only affect the remaining interpretations in the Book of Daniel but will also have an even greater impact on our ability to understand the Book of Revelation.

It might be appropriate to view this chapter as two separate sections. First there is the dream sequence, found in verses 31–35, which gives the structure of the final four kingdoms that come upon the earth: Babylon, Medes-Persia, Greece, and the Roman Empire. There will still only be four kingdoms even though the Roman Empire will be divided into two when Papal Rome replaces pagan Rome as the fourth kingdom. In addition to the external boundaries, each of the four consecutive and separate kingdoms also have their own internal borders, providing a clean sense of time and space where each interpretation sequence verse that follows can be placed and positioned.

Understanding each kingdom's distinctive features, assets, and material composition greatly aids our ability to interpret God's words within His plan of salvation. Each kingdom symbolizes a certain physical component of a man, as well as having a unique metal type and color code that reveal important details about their role in His plan. There is only one verse in the dream sequence that permits the division and proper separation of the succeeding interpretation sequence verses. It would not be possible to determine the placement and timing of the interpretation sequence verses without identifying this special activity and approaching it in a totally different way than what is found in today’s currently accepted interpretations. And if we look at those accepted interpretations for these specific verses, we find that many of them have been pushed well into the future, which has led to the misuse of God's messages or predictions and the loss of their intended prophetic meaning.

The second section of Chapter 2 comprises the interpretation sequence of verses. Daniel will be given many difficult and seemingly impenetrable verses to interpret. But they will fit nicely within the dream sequence verses. They will explain and expand on the actors, events, and prophecies that occur within the dream sequence. Consequently, it is necessary not only to interpret the meaning of each verse and the identities of each actor and event, but also to ensure they are all placed within the proper internal borders (within each of the four kingdoms), as well as their proper place in time.

The first three kingdoms are discussed in verses 37 through 39 of the interpretation sequence, and it is not too difficult to identify and place these verses within the kingdom structure. However, most of the verses in the interpretation sequence, 40–45, concentrate on the fourth kingdom of Rome, and they are a difficult assignment to unpack. This is further complicated due to the dividing of the fourth kingdom into two different powers (pagan versus Papal Rome).

As a result of applying these two approaches to Chapter 2, these interpretations will significantly depart from today’s accepted interpretations. Consequently, they will cause a similar departure from the accepted interpretations for the remaining chapters in Daniel.

So this sets the stage for what will follow in the discussion for each of the coming 49 verses in chapter 2. And you can see without bringing them into this response at this time, we already have a major disagrement on the identification of the 4 kingdoms and the number of them. The first kingdom is Bablyon not Assyria - God purposely brought forward the kingdom of Babylon to destroy the Assyrian kingdom since they never assimilated their conquered foes - they destroyed them and everything assocaiated with them... they also had no physical and safe place to house His people while they were in exile. Babylon destroyed them before the exile of the Jews.

So, please consider all of this regarding the big picture of Daniel and the establishment of the first kingdom in God's metal man image.

Look, I understand your take on Daniel and your take on the Roman Catholic church, and it's safe to say it's a dispensational take that your echoing, a take that is based on assumptions that are made by most if not all dispensationalists.

I don't view the Bible through a dispensational lens, though I used to before I began to study the Bible in earnest, without the dispensational notes that I was indoctrinated into believing one must follow in order to for scripture to make sense.

You can point to all the things the RCC has done wrong that makes you think it is beast of Daniel and Revelation.  But in doing so, you are dismissing that the RCC, for all its faults, has never not taught that Christ came in the flesh, that Christ is God incarnate, and that Christ was crucified buried and resurrected from the dead so that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. And because the RCC has never not taught those things, the RCC cannot be the beast of Daniel 7 or of Revelation 13 and 17.

Peace

we already have a major disagrement on the identification of the 4 kingdoms and the number of them. The first kingdom is Bablyon not Assyria -

The Assyrian Kingdom was prior to the Babylonian. King Neb's dream statue did not include Assyria.

I stand by how I have sorted Daniels Prophesies into their correct place. Remember; Isaiah 28:9-13 says Bible Prophecy is a little here, a little there....

Very well... and I can assure you  that NO ONE would find my interpretations consistent with any of the two or three major accepted interpretations of Daniel. But  thank you for your responses, best wishes.

Why did you even mention the Assyrian empire - they were destroyed by Babylon?  So who is the kingdom of Gold - the head, who is the second kingdom of silver, who is the third kingdom of bronze and who is the final kingdom of iron?

Are these not all found to be identified in chapter 2? Chapter 7  is a long way from chapter 2 and I can assure you that what you find in chapter 7 will not contradict or conflict with chapter 2....

If you want to continue, who are the 4 kingdoms in chapter 2 - that is a start and should be quite easy to mention...

The end of days antichrist must, by biblical definition, be someone that rejects that Yeshua has come in the flesh.  I don't know of any Roman pope that has taken that position. I know the Roman Catholic Church does not take that position.

Accordingly, unless the RCC changes its catechism and starts  teaching that Yeshua did not come in flesh, end of days antichrist must come from some other sect, like the sect of the saduccees perhaps.

The Future Human Man, The Antichrist Seen Below In (Daniel) 11:37 Will Be A Hebrew/Jew In Decent, His Fathers Worshipped The True Hebrew (God Of His Fathers)

(Daniel) 11:37KJV

37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

Examples: God Of His Fathers

(2 Kings) 21:22KJV

22 And he forsook the Lord God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the Lord.

(2 Chronicles) 21:10KJV

10 So the Edomites revolted from under the hand of Judah unto this day. The same time also did Libnah revolt from under his hand; because he had forsaken the Lord God of his fathers.

Daniel 11:36-39

36And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. 37Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. 38But in his estate shall he honor the God of forces: and a god whom his father’s knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. 39Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

These verses represent the third time section within the fourth kingdom in Chapter 11. The first period is from pagan Rome to the time of the Messiah; the second period is from the cross to the coming of the "little horn" of Daniel 7 and 8, and the final period is from the fourth kingdom of Papal Rome and the rise of the "little horn" to the end of days.

They focus on the "king that shall do according to his will”—the little horn after he has taken power (after the fourth kingdom beast of pagan Rome was slain, 7:11). Within three centuries, the Roman Church had transformed the administrative organization of the Roman Empire into an ecclesiastical system of bishoprics, dioceses, monasteries, colonies, garrisons, schools, libraries, administrative centers, envoys, representatives, courts of justice, and a criminal system of intricate laws all under the direct control of the pope. His Roman Palace, the Lateran, became the new Senate. The new senators were the cardinals. The bishops who lived in Rome and the priests and deacons helped the pope to administer this new imperium. (Malachi Martin, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Church, p. 105).

It is not difficult to see the little horn of Daniel in these verses. He has been revealed and described frequently and in detail in verses 7:11, 7:19–25, 8:9–12, and 8:23–25. After the little horn comes to power, he will rule over both state and religious matters. He will exalt himself above God, claim divinity and infallibility, and prosper until the wrath has been accomplished. Today, billions of their followers refer to this "king" (verse 36) as the coming anti-Christ figure, not realizing he has been around for the past 1500 years. He is indeed the one they have been worshiping all along. Consequently, there is no anti-Christ, supernatural being, or boogeyman that will come some 2000 years after the cross. There will not be an agreement with Israel for seven years. This is the same unscriptural message commissioned and promoted by the little horn since the Reformation period. Their "futurist interpretation" was unfortunately successful in removing the label of the little horn from the papacy. But that will not prevent his destruction at the hand of the Lord at "the appointed time." Here are some of their claims.

·     The Pope is of so great dignity and so exalted that he is not a mere man, but as it were God, and the vicar of God.

·     The Pope is of such lofty and supreme dignity that, properly speaking, he has not been established in any rank of dignity, but rather has been placed upon the very summit of all ranks of dignities. The Pope is called most holy because he is rightfully presumed to be such.

·     Nor can emperors and kings be called most holy; for although in civil laws the term ‘most sacred’ seems sometimes to have been usurped by emperors, yet never that of ‘most holy.’

·     The Pope alone is deservedly called by the name ‘most holy’, because he alone is the Vicar of Christ, who is the fountain and source and fullness of all holiness. The Pope by reason of the excellence of his supreme dignity is called bishop of bishop.

·     He is also called ordinary of ordinaries. He is likewise bishop of the universal church. He is likewise the divine monarch and supreme emperor, and king of kings.

·     Hence the Pope is crowned with a triple crown, as king of heaven and of earth and of the lower regions. (Lucius Ferraris, Prompta Bibliotheca Canonica, Juridica, Moralis, Theologica nec non Ascetica, Polemica, Rubricistica, Historica, article, ‘Papa’).

This is the king who will declare himself god on earth; he will occupy his own throne in the Vatican; and he will use whatever force or power is necessary to succeed. In the name of God, he would do horrible things yet adorn himself in precious jewels, stones, gold, and silver. These are not the things or signs of a coming anti-Christ figure in the future, but one that hundreds of millions have been worshipping all along.

In Revelation 13:4–10, John writes of him,

4And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that kill with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

The Jews who accepted Jesus as their Messiah after the cross would receive the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. They would go out into the world preaching the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus. This would begin the church which would be given the name - the Christian church, although this was a very derrogatory term for the first few hundred years after the cross. But that would change with Constantine and then after the demise of the 4th kingdom beast of pagan Rome (7;11), the church headed by priests, bishops, cardinals and of course the pope (the bishop of bishops) would take power over church and state. They would wield immense amount of power over people - not only using the military ight of pagan Rome but not dominate and control their eternal existence by determing who and how they would be saved.  Consequently, they / he would not regard the God of his fathers --- meaning, the God of the fathers of the christian church were the Jews and the church would honor Jesus in name only. They would declare themselves holy and infallible and divine and able to forgive sin. This would never take place in the Jewish nation - there is only One God in the Jewish nation, and the pope would even declare himself to on the same level or greater than God. Traditions became more important than the Word of God, they brought in so many pagan practices and changed the laws of God (10 commandments).... who would possibly think to do such a thing? Who would be arragant enough to claim to be God on earth? Do you really think this is what God had established through the cross? Is this the church that He established?

If I may respond to your comment, I am not sure I understand it.

First, I don’t see anything in Scripture that tells us a literal “anti-Christ” individual will come on the scene. There are only 4 times in the NT where this term is found and everyone of those speaks to the “spirit” of anti-Christ” - someone speaking a different gospel than what Jesus preached.

Now, if you want to discuss a very real evil one that will come on the earth and preach that “different gospel, speak against God, etc., that real person / system is indeed revealed to us in Daniel by God.

That very noticeable one is identified as the “little horn.” And I think it is easily seen just how much “ink” God has given us that reveals his character, his timing, his actions and decisions, his quest for power and certainty even worship.

I think most folks are awaiting some supernatural, menacing boogeyman type of individual who will come with such power and hate, etc. But that is not what is written in Daniel.

God clearly told us who this person / system will be, how he came to be, why he does what he does, and that “he must continue UNTIL the end of time- when Jesus returns.

You say the RCC or the papacy does not match these nasty kinds of things this evil one will do… I cannot imagine anyone else meeting each and every one of the identifiers in Daniel more than the papacy.

But it is how we look at things! From God’s point of view, He is telling us what this person will do AGAINST HIM and HIS CHUCH ( HIS PEOPLE).

So from God’s point of view what would this evil look like?

1) Would this person / system claim divinity like God where God clearly says that there is only One God to worship and obey?

2) Would this person / system claim to have the authority to forgive sin- which only God can do?

3) Would  this person / system claim that salvation only comes through “their” church?

4) Would this person / system design sacraments not spoken of by God that must be followed to be saved?

5) Would that person / system think he has the right to change God’s laws?

6) Would this person / system rewrite and / or reinterpret God’s 10 commandments - even removing the second that deals with idols?

7) Would this person / system murder and torture over 50 million people during the course of their reign for those refusing to join or obey their Catholic Church? Did Jesus ever resort to these horrible tactics to get people to follow Him?

8) Have they established their own separate set of rituals and practices that align with many pagan practices?

9) Have they established their own worshipping of many, many others instead of worshipping the One true God ONLY?

10) Have they indeed preached a very different gospel- their own Catechism is blasphemous?

11) Have they indeed claimed that “tradition” is equal to or greater than the Word of God?

This list could literally go on for days…

So, the question to ask is if we were to put down on paper a list of things that would clearly identify one who would preach a very different gospel- one that has corrupted Gods Word and His commandments, has even claimed to be God on earth and equal to God.. and on and on… would you then agree that this person we would be talking about or trying to identify be the papacy?

What could any other person do that would prove to be a greater evil one against God and His teachings? Who could do more than what they have already done?

If you’re looking for some Hollywood looking monster with supernatural power to arrive and destroy, you will not find him. He is the one who will turn billions of people from worshipping Jesus in the manner He desires. We are not to worship and obey this little horn  - only God.

He has been with us telling us, forcing us and murdering millions so we follow him and join his church… what can anyone do that is more harmful to our God?

Standard reformed eschatology, the word "Antichrist" and the popes throughout history has been the evil man described in the revelation "Wrong"

(The Future Consummation)

2 Peter 3:10KJV

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Merriam-Webster

Definition of consummation

1: the act of consummating the consummation of a contract by mutual signature specifically : the consummating of a marriage

2: the ultimate end

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

I disagree with your reformed eschatology, the Roman catholic pope isn't Daniel's "Little Horn" as reformed eschatology falsely teaches, the future "Little Horn" will be a Jew/Hebrew in decent as shown above

This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
