Hi ... curious to know what my dreams are ?   :brightidea:

Interesting topic ... Someone in our church had a dream/vision and she told us on Sunday what was it about. There where two trees, on with a lot of fruits and another one with only few. She was approaching and they were wonderful. When came a strong wind all the fruits fell from the first one, but the little fruits of the other one didn't fall.

Now, I think it's important to understand it, and we can't pass by. So, yes, it's important to take time and ask God to have the explaination of it.

Once I had a dream it was like this : my father was driving the car and I was on the right seat next to him. (we usually go to Portugal by car). It was the desert and just after a curve in the mountains I saw flames and the highway was drowning into it. We entered in what we can call #### and fell very deeply. Then I I shouted and ask my father where he was and no answer, then I saw big white splendid columns that where all above this ####, and the Father was calling me and said : Now it's time, here is your place. I saw very white light, it was like another world that attracted me. Then I woke up. Now, I hope it doesn't mean my father will go to ####.

What these things mean ? Could my dream just have been "bad thoughts" that come from the devil while I was unable to think ? Cause he wanted to lie to me ? Or was it a vision ?

Dreams can be influenced by many factors.

Fabrice -

I can tell you most assuredly, your dream was not of the devil.  How do I know?  The devil would never give you such a beautiful image of The Father and your heavenly home!

If your father belongs to Jesus, he most certainly will not go to H*ll.  Remember, things are not always what they seem in dreams.  For instance, sometimes another person in a dream can be representative of some aspect of yourself or other things.  I am making a guess, but your father in your dream could be representative (symbolic) of your life on earth or the power of your flesh or something along those lines.  Does that make sense?

If it helps, I too had a dream of my death.  I haven't shared this with many people, but I believe it might help ease your thoughts and feelings.  Well, I guess I'll be blunt.  In my dream, I was martyred.  There's two things that stick out to me about it.  For background, I've never been afraid of death because I know what is on the other side, but I was terrified of the process (I do not like pain  :uhh: ).  But in my dream, all of a sudden there was Jesus :brightidea: and He carried me through the death - and I felt no pain at all!  Wow!  The second thing that got me was that when I awoke, I realized I no longer felt fear over the death process.  It was completely gone!

So, I would say your dream was from the Lord, and He was showing you something very special.  Just remember what it was like for you when you heard The Father calling you home and treasure that in your heart.  :il:

A dream is not the same thing as a vision. People often confuse them.

A dream is just that. A vision is is when you see into the spirit realm...as permitted by God's perfect will. It looks like a photograph with two images superimposed on one another.

The vision is interesting because you can see both the actual physical world in which you are in while simultaneously seeing other images of a world, presumably of the spirit world.

It looks exactly like a photograph that has the two superimposed images. It's bizarre but it's most certainly nothing like a dream.

A vision is granted by God at His option for His purpose. He alone chooses whether to grant someone a vision and Has His own reason for doing it.

Dreams are often symbolic and can enhance a person's insight into a situation. I suspect the dreams are likely prophetic..either revealing a future event or describing something that is happening or serving as a direct communication from God. Joseph received a dream about Herod and took Mary and the babe into Eygpt. That dream was a warning.

H Fabrice,

In the dreeams of the trees, soounds like superficial christianity to me. Because the fruit looked good, but when the winds came(adversity), the fruit fell off. As for you other dream, the Father is telling you to take you rightful place, so it doesn't sound negative in any way. I know recently in church words have come that now is the time to rise to our rightful place. You maybe need the direction of the Holy Spirit to guide you.

Keep the thoughts coming. I was wondering if anyone was having dreams out there. I don't knowwhat they all mean but we can pray for enlightenment, and help from our brothers and sisters.

GOD BLESS EVERYONE! :music:

Dr Luke,

Thanks for the welcome.

As far as having a gift of dream interpretation, I don't believe so. First of all, I don't believe it is a gift given as one would receive gifts of the Spirit or ministry gifts.

I believe after receiving dreams and visions over the years from the Lord, He has taught me many things. I believe He gives insight and revelation into His Word when we ask Him. I believe this to be true for all. Sometimes the Lord shows me so clearly and yet others are still wanting to reason with their minds. I don't quite understand this. Deep calls to deep as the Word so beautifully reads.

I have, however, been able to help people understand their dreams and visions when the Lord prompts me with insight.

I think it is easy to ask someone else what a dream means. I believe it can seem a little harder to receive the enlightment from the Lord ourself.

Though, I also believe we need to be careful when this happens not to become nothing more than a palm reader of sorts or seekerof sorts. This isn't cool and can open doors that will wreak havoc in our life. I believe if we are given a dream/vision from the Lord, He will tell us what it means.

Blessings!

Hello saints!

Daniel 2:6

But if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honour: therefore shew me the dream, and the interpretation thereof.

Lately....as in the past year..I have been having mostly, very vivid

and Colorfull dreams...But mostly,, the theme involves "Blood"and/or "battles".

I await the interpretation from our Lord

Daniel 4:5

I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me.

:uhh:

I believe dreams are one way God speaks to us.

Joel 2:28

And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

God Bless you in all that you do!

Hi PapaT.

Read your posts on dreams that you started yourself. It is strange, because I never used to remember my dreams. Now to have such vivid dreams is new. I sympathize with your dream about the warfare. I don't remember dreaming one night but I woke up with the phrase "Buckets of blood" one morning. I still wait for some insight about this one.

I do know my armor is shabby and I have to spruce it up a bit.

Blessings !

Hello Fabrice

Well I am sure that God communicates with us through dreams But I have never met someone who claims to have the gift of interpreting dreams from God. So I am left with the impression that if there is interpretation of dreams it will be planted in the mind of the one who received the dream by God?

Now I have had dreams from God and i know instantly I awake that they are from God and deep down i know the message that the dream is giving me. even though the message can be unpleasant.

So having said that i cannot interpret dreams I can only give a personal opinion about the dream of the true trees.

the two trees both bare fruit that is that the two types of religion bare fruit one has far more adherents than the other but when the wind comes "tribulation" the fruit "adherents" of the more productive faith will fall because this tree is not strong enough to go through persecution and therefore it's followers are lost in the purification process But the tree that grew few fruits is a stronger tree and the fruits on that tree will survive the testing of the wind.

But as I said that

Hi Curious.... :D

As with you, I believe i do know the interpretation of my Dreams...

But sometimes...as the days go by, I recall them in the awake state as well...Everyday events seem to metaphorically take on the essence of my dream.  I see the suffering of the people of this world....both saved..and unsaved....and my heart breaks.

I'm drawn towards this passage :

Isaiah 9:5

For all the armor of the armed man in the tumult, and the garments rolled in blood, shall be for burning, for fuel of fire.

The full armor of God...is meant to battle with...fight the good fight againt the enemy(satan)...

Ephesians 6:11

Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Ephesians 6:13

Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.

Ephesians 6:12

For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places].

Ephesians 6:14

Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

Ephesians 6:15

and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Ephesians 6:16

withal taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil [one].

Ephesians 6:17

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Every Armor has chinks in it...except the full Armor of God

God Bless you in all that you do!

:brightidea:

Ephesians 6:24

Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ with [a love] incorruptible.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
