Okay, I'm waxing rhapsodic now, but I wanted to just briefly express my appreciation for everyone here...

It's almost been a year now, since I've been participating in the Worthy ministry through the boards. And all through my typos, frustrations, misunderstandings, and general ignorrance of some points, you all have stuck with me, and been my friends. I consider Worthy my "home away from home," my "church away from church." Anyway, I wanted to let everyone (Even the new members) know how much I have grown as a person and grown as a Christian here at the Worhty boards. You may not realize it, but the Body of Christ is so much bigger than many of us really ever get to understand. Through this ministry, I have come to realize that the Body of Christ is so much larger than just the ministry I am involved in - so much larger than my local church. And yet, we all are one in the Lord Jesus Christ. This is truly an amazing thing - and I am so happy to have been involved with it.

Each of you has been a blessing for me - whether I have disagreed with you, or whether we are in perfect fellowship - even when we are discussion sports, political issues, or very personal issues, you guys have really been a blessing to me. You know, I have often questioned whether the Lord even counts this kind of fellowship when He considers our work unto eternal life. But I believe now that He truly counts every moment that we build up the Body through fellowship - even if it's through a small computer with an internet connection.

May God bless the Worthy ministry. May God bless the Worthy boards. May God bless you all in Christ Jesus.

In Christ,

Beau B. Avery

Brother, it has been a pleasure being on the boards with you. You're right, we don't always agree on everything, but we do agree on the important issues. I have learned a lot through you, and our Father has blessed me through you.

This ministry is a strange thing I think. It really is a church of sorts. A big one! LOL! People come here for all sorts of reasons. Some are hurting, some are broken, some are searching, some are lonely, some are just wanting to talk to another brother about our Lord. But all find a home here. Or they can at least. It most definately is a ministry. I used to wonder about the value of it. Whether it was a waste of time or a passing fancy or just what it is that even draws me or anyone here. Well, it is the Lord that draws us. There is fellowship here, and answers, and help, and laughter, and peace, and love. We can come here and learn, teach, grow, cry, praise. We can even sing, sort of! LOL!

I found out just how important fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ is when my son died. This ministry kept me sane. This ministry listened to my pain and cried with me. This ministry reached out to me. Our Father blessed me so much through this ministry, through each one here. What I'm trying to say, is that this place is a real place of worship. The people here aren't just words on a screen. They are living breathing God-fearing people.

Anyway, I'm glad you told your feelings about the board. This is a good place. Good work is done here. I believe that. That's why I hang around.

Ah man, this place is great. I know I have only been here 2 1/2 weeks, but I

still feel a loving presence, even though we can't see each other. It's allright

though.

I would have joined this late May-mid June, but, I couldn't, since my email was

disabled, so I had to get a new one ( actually, I also got a yahoo! email address, which is my current email address.)

The fellowship here is great. I mean, it is. I feel the presence of the Lord here,

even though we are all talking through a machine, with an internet connection.

God bless you all.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
