How is that different from your Gospel? Oh, I do know of one significant difference. I believe one must endure in their faith to the end of their life; whereas you (as an Evangelical) believe a "Christian" can commit genocide and be saved nonetheless. Correct? "Once saved always saved"?

The way to come to the contiousness of God is through imitating Christ. Christ is the only way. As long as you believe it is a process you will never get there because you will always be in process. Actually, I think the opposite may be true. The only way we can know or experience God is through Jesus.

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.

John 14:6 NASB

The only way to experience a relationship with the Father, and to know the Father is through Jesus

It is exactly as you said. We have said the same. You can't find one without the other.

Rational & Godly people will not encourage concubines & harems in the community.

Folks here is the deal. If I am discussing an issue with a person whom I believe may be deceived, I do my best to use terms they would understand and not use terms that shut down conversation. We are not trying to win an argument here. We are trying to discuss truth. Truth does not need our rudeness added on to it to make it more truthful. If you believe what you are saying to be true, say it and let it stand on its own merit.

Adding our own "color" to the truth may very well at the end of the day keep people from receiving that truth. Please treat each other as Jesus would. Speak the truth, but from a motivation of love, where the person comes away knowing they were disagreed with, but not feeling thay were devalued as a person
