But it looks like when the Death and Hades are thrown into this lake of fire the lake of fire turns into Second Death.This is the worst form of death.It is eternal torment.

What basis do you have for this?

I also take issue with your separation of "Hell" and "Hades".

Do you honestly believe King David burned in torment? Read Acts 2.

First off, you are mixing Sheol and Gehenna, when the two are in fact separate.

Please learn the difference; then we can talk.

LD: Please forgive me, I'm not a scholar by any stretch of the imagination....just a lowly student learning a day by day in my walk with the Lord...but I think I had read somewhere in a bible commentary that Sheol was sorta like a "holding place" (so-to-speak) for the souls who were awaiting the Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ, whose atoning death would set them free from this "holding place".

I want to be clear that I didn't write this commentary (it was in one bible I was studying out of some time ago)....and this commentary said that this "holding place" was compared to "Abraham's Bosom" (not the heavenly abode where believers go but NOT 'hell' per se....).

Evidently, the animal sacrifices for those who trusted in Adonai (the Lord) Jehovah, would rest there until the "veil" was lifted (at the time of death of Jesus Christ).

If I'm wrong, that's fine....but I'm recalling as best as I can from memory....(*hope I'm not too far off).

Sheol is indeed a waiting place for the resurrection of the dead. It contains two compartments: Paradise, and a "spirit prison." Followers of the Gospel wait in Paradise, whereas blasphemers await judgement, contained within the spirit prison. This is Biblical doctrine not exclusive to the LDS Church. Seventh-Day Adventists likewise emphasize it, as do several other Christian sects. May God bless you,
