Is This Man a Heretic?

Greetings Catsmeow,

What is our responsibility? Do we ignore them and hope they just go away OR do we confront them with the truth OR do we ignore them but warn the weak and vulnerable?

Remember the Sons of Thunder? Remember Jesus telling the disciples that if a place they were sent to did not receive them, then to knock the dust of their feet and move on?

It is NOT our job to convince and convict. That is the job of the Holy Spirit and the Law. It IS our job to share the gospel and the truth of His message.

We shall always have wolves come in, even as you say this guy goes from board to board seeking new followers. I am a moderator on another board and fortunately we have not seen the likes of this fellow you are talking about, but the board is well moderated and any posts that do not live up to the standards set by the board are reported to the board's owner and he will give one warning and then the poster is locked out.

I suggest reporting the errant post and see what the moderators do. If they allow that type of posting, then I would leave the board. No one in the Administration of the Gospel (including Christian forums) should allow wolves in, unless they themselves are wolves. Depart from that board as quickly as possible if such is the case.

You can't protect ADULT, though immature Christians, from the whole world. Be ready in season and out to:

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Notice - "with meekness and fear". Do not get into endless debates that you know are going to be fruitless. Let your light shine and season everything you say with salt. I know you care, but Jesus cares even more than you and WILL protect HIS OWN.

DE: I don't do much of anything on that board...the guy who does these posts goes from board to board using the same handle and saying the exact same thing.

It's infiltration....The board admins know it.

It may surprise some here to know that Worthy Boards is (Well, IMO anyway) one of the toughest moderated boards I've seen.

Other boards out there are not. I bring this to your awareness that these people are indeed out there...

Addressing this fellow directly does not good..at all. He's like that other guy was ....who hated Jews and spewed antisemitic garbage on WB's until he was banned.

There's no interest in the truth with this guy...you'd have to just read his posts...

I tend to study trends in order to see how "Apostacy" will be introduced into Christian churches and to see if just how vulnerable people are. And they ARE vulnerable...and easy to be manipulated, I'm sorry to say.

Did you realize by re-posting this mans post here, that you are "unintentionally" planting these words into others that read it? Thus, it may cause unnecessary warfare in the mind of the reader. Especially those weak in the faith.

You are "unknowingly" promoting his belief onto another messageboard (this one).

The post that he wrote about Paul, is not of the Spirit of God as we know. So what spirit is this from?

It is a spirit of "Deception" designed to subtly decieve the people that read it!

Here on Worthy Boards, viewers see our rebuttals; one board in particular had no such rebuttals. Without at least a moderator, this person went unchallenged. Fortunately, at Crosswalk.Com...they had members challenge this poster head on.

We (as well as Crosswalk.Com) have open denouncement of this person's heretical teachings.

I strongly disagree with you, VOG...because to censor this would be to insist we delete every single Raider's article you see...because they're all controversial.....

VOG, the problem is when people fail to consider the problems we are facing as a Church Body. We can't just ignore the problem and pretend it isn't there.

I find it interesting that you consider yourself a watchman and claim to stand guard on our behalfs, yet when someone else is sounding the alarm, you immediately say, "Censor"!

What if everytime I thought your prophesies were wrong, I insisted we censor them? Or if I didn't like a Raider's article, I said, "censor" it?

On Worthy Boards, people who might 'lurk' here will find plenty of mature believers to refute heretical teachings. Such things will be openly challenged by the Christians here.

This man's heretical opinions is no less ridiculous than ordaining a gay Bishop. We don't bury what's going on in the world ...but we do confront it with the truth of the scriptures..

I wouldn't bring this to the board unless I felt Worthy Boards had an army of mature believers who would clearly stand up to it...and refute it and also see what forms these people take when they do indeed infiltrate the boards.

Like Journey says, we live in a time and age when we will always run into these people. The question is how to we confront them...?

Bury our heads in the sand? Pretend they don't exist? We just recently dealt with this on Worthy Boards with a new member who was highly anti-semitic.

We dealt with it, head on. And we deal with all kinds of heretical teachings, which this is clearly.

I posted this to show what kinds of propaganda other sites are allowing to slip in...and this was one of countless examples available.

We are also to guard the boards.. ...We are to be prepared IN SEASON and OUT OF SEASON...and always be prepared for our defense of the gospel...God's Holy Word.

I am having a problem with this...because if what YOU say is right, we should never discuss issues facing the Church.

In other words, any current issues facing the church should be avoided ! We should all put on smiley faces and pretend these issues don't exist? Right?

Am I hearing you right? You are, (by implication) saying that Apostle Paul was wrong to have discussed the apostate teachings of those who infiltrated the various churches. Paul was WRONG to warn Timothy about divisive persons.

That's what you're saying to me...that I am WRONG to warn the Body of Christ about those who spread destructive heresies, which I was attempting, in good faith, to do.

We should be prepared in season and out of season...always ready to confront heretical teachings and always ready to give a good defense for our hope in the gospel.

Here, we have many mature believers who can and do refute heresy.

If you prefer not reading about these issues, you don't need to ..that's your perogative. Don't accuse me, brother. I presented this in good faith to the Body, for their scrutiny.

If people are lurking, they will quickly see how this man's claims are easily disputed by mature believers.

Why didn't you just refute the man's post, line upon line, precept upon precept?

I think it is because youVoice, yourself have trouble defending your claims and refuting things that this posting of this man's heresies so alarms you . . . sooooo, you, Voice always bring it back to what God told you directly . . . not sound scripture refutation . . . yet you have been proven wrong on several accounts.
