I don't know why I am even bothering to take you seriously, but I will respond to you. Your facts are completely off.

First of all, oil was first discovered in Iran. A British oil company, the Anglo-Persian Oil Company (APOC) was producing oil from there as early as 1911. The British found oil in Iraq just after World War 1, and in 1932 an American Company, Standard Oil Company of California (SOCAL) discovered large quantities in Bahrain.

Throughout the 1930s there was a an ongoing competition between the U.S. and Great Britain, and thus a increase. Britain had lost its concession with Iran to continue drilling, and had to turn its attention to smaller Gulf states for oil. Even after the Shah and Britain had come to an agreement on a new concession, the British realized the need to be more diversified where their Middle East sources of oil were concerned.

The smaller Gulf states made the most sense and the terrain for drilling was quite similar to what they had seen in Iran.
