Mike ,

Interesting view point, that is why I use these boards. But, your point has not landed squarely on me. I will give you that the Jews are Gods chosen. I don't question, get insulted or get jelouse as to why God chose the Jews over any other, I just accept it. God in his infinite wisdom had a very good reason and it may be for a reason totally different than it appears on the surface or that we are even able to understand in this earthly condition. The gentiles have been grafted in and I don't believe it is to submit or serve any one but God. We are all Gods Chrildren, we will be loved unconditionally, fully and the same. I love each of my children with the same earnest heart. God with his wealth of love is able to do this much better than I. Using my feeble attempt in comparison at fathering and loving my own children, all my children feel loved, secured and happy. How much more do you think we will feel in the presence of the Lord our God.

If that doesn't convince you then lets use logic. Lets quote the verse.

Revelation 22:15. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

If we the Gentiles are the Dogs, and the Dogs are overcomers, we gained salvation, according to your post,( I'm just guessing at your affiliation). Then how does that explain the others, sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. Why are they there also. According to you, they should have been in the lake of Fire. Not hanging out with the saved gentiles.

I would be careful how you describe Gods motives and intentions.  Many would call this blashemy. I was angered how you framed God as a racist.

But this forum is used to plant seeds, further knowledge and shed light on ignorance. I just hope you are truly ignorant in the truest sense and not mererly twisting Gods scripture for your own designs.

May Gods peace and infinite love dwell in you.  Amen

Howdy Coolwaters!

I want to assure you that it was not my intent to show God as a racist. That was most definitely not my point at all. All I did was quote Scripture. I am very sorry that you took what I said that way. The only thing I can say is you did not see the point that I was trying to convey. However, If my comments angered you, then I pray that Hebrews 4:12 will not make you furious as follows...

Hebrews 4:12. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Jesus Christ is The Lord and Saviour of my life. I am a born again, Pre-Tribulation rapturist, Trinitarian. And, Hebrews 4:12 should make any Christian uncomfortable in my honest opinion. Quoting Scripture word for word in a teaching mode or sharing mode should never be considered by anyone as Blasphemy. My opinion of course.

However, If they are purposely misusing the Precious Holy Word of God in an unGlorifying way, then I believe that God will deal with that person. Again, I do want to reiterate that showing God as a rascist was not my intent. I was just merely placing what I thought to be an interesting idea/thought on the board for discussion.

My deepest and sincere appologies to anyone who may have been offended.

God Bless You!

Mike,

I just take great offense when somebody appears to shed God in a unholy light. I can tell that that wasn't your intentions and you shouldn't be afraid to bounce ideas off the walls of this board. I probably reacted out of haste, but I felt the need to set it straight, somebody could take it the wrong way and run with it, like a skin head. Any way I give you kudo's because you had the courage to speak up and really your post was the first honest stab at answering what is probably a unanswerable question. peace :x:

So just to get this cleared up are you saying that the dogs talked of in the relevant scripture are gentile Christians and that gentiles will not be allowed to enter the New Jerusalem?

All Praise The Ancient Of Days

Those who are true Jews are those who are Jews spiritually.

Rom 2:28-29

I also believe He is speaking of gentiles but not gentile believers if there is such a thing. Once we believe and recieve Christ as our savior we are grafted in (Rom 11:17) and become partakers of salvation with the Jews and are no longer considered outsiders.

anyone outside of the house of God is a dog and this from my understanding of scripture includes Jews who are without Christ.

Phil 3:2 " Beware of the dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the false circumcision" (also see Psalm 22:16 and Rev 22:15)

here Paul puts these all in the same category and in verse 4

"for we are the circumcicion, who worship God in the Spirit, and rejoyce in Jesus Christ, and have no confidence in the flesh"

but here Paul equates all who worship in Spirit and rejoyce in Jesus in the same category also he reiterates puts no confidence in the flesh (ie circumcision)

so To me anyway, I believe a dog is any one outside of the house of God which would include unrepentant Jews.

What do you think about the timing of when the New Jerusalem is established and the fact that unrepentent people are outside its gates? Quote "so To me anyway, I believe a dog is any one outside of the house of God which would include unrepentant Jews." This is after the Millennium. With the timing in mind now do you still believe that their will be unsaved people outside the gates. Also, I might add why would their be a need to have gates on a city at this particular time or dispensation? Jesus is sitting and reigning as KIng on David's Throne. Are they merely symbolic or are they literally functioning as in being used for a purpose such as keeping something out. I presume its purpose could be to keep livestock out of the City any thoughts?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
