Hello Sue,

The following is an interpretation given by sister Sherry of your dream about your son. Couldn't find the original thread but the quotes were from your post in "More wierd dreams". Much grace be given to us.

In my first dream, we are in our house and it looks like a Tsunami is headed

for us, and our son is outside on the front steps. I call to him to come

inside, but he chose to leave. I could see the Tsunami headed for our house,

but then something stopped it and the only damage we suffered was our washer

pulled out from the wall and got water on the floor. I don't know where my

son went, but he was gone.

My comments: The house is the church the tsunami is God's judgment headed for the church your son represents the young generation that you must reach before the Tsunami ie.. Gods judgment

Felix,

Most of it made sense. Only, if my house and me represent what she said they represent, then why use me and my house to represent something neither of us stand for? I think, instead, that my house represents God's protection, God has used me as his watchman to warn young people to repent of their sins and to return to God, so I think my house represents the shelter of the Almighty. This house is under his protection when the storm hits. I am warning people to come under God's protection, but some are choosing to leave and to go their own way. My son is one of them.

Also, my letters would not represent watered down messages. I have been rejected much by young adults because I don't water down the message, and they want watered-down messages. I teach repentance and holy living, and I warn of the coming judgment of God, so they leave and go other places where they don't have to hear that. I have been writing letters to my son that tell him the same thing, because he is not willing to commit his life to Jesus. He wants to believe in God and still live his life the way he wants to live it, and so do many of the other young people God has had in our home for Bible study for the past 7+ years. I believe the letters are "liquid" to the listener when Satan comes and steals the truth from the listener. They leave here solid, but Satan steals the message from the young people's hearts, so that the letters lose their solid message and turn to liquid in their hearts.

Nonetheless, I do agree that much of The Church of today is watering down the message of the gospel. If that is what my home and me personally represented, then people would not be leaving, they would be staying, because that is the message they want to hear. God is going to bring judgment down on The Church, so I don't think my house represents the church in general, but perhaps it represents the true church, meaning those who have come under the shelter of the Almighty and who God will protect through the storm. I believe what she said about the washer is true, only I think if it represents spiritual cleansing, that it represents the revival and the harvest of souls that is going to take place after the judgment of God hits, and that God is going to use me and my home to lead people to that cleansing.

hello sister Sue,

Acutally, i don't think this represents you but is symbolic of the fallen Church. The Lord uses His faithful servants to represent the fallen condition of His people. For instance, prophet Ezekial had to lay on His side for nearly a year I think to show the iniquity of the house of Isreal. He was also told to cook food with animal dung.

I know that your messages are not watered down. I believe your dream is representing the iniquities of the Church. I do not think this was a personal dream....in this case there is no need to share it with the body...and it would apply more to you than the Church. I believe this dream is for the Church and so does not really represent you at all.

I had a dream two nights ago, March 28.

In it the sign of the Cross was blazing in the sky, it was so incredibly real and so incredibly clear. It was not like any other dreams I have ever had. The clarity and the colors were astounding, I mean I can still picture them very clearly. It was hanging over all, bright in the sky, but also colorful, I could not see what Christ looked like on the cross, the cross was huge though and clearly set back from the bright blue sky.

I don't usually remember my dreams and I have not had any sort of faith like dreams since I was a child.

Sue and EricH,

I must apologize for not responding to your questions posted 3 weeks ago. I hadn't come back to this thread until now.

Meanwhile, Sue's initial post has generated quite a number of excellent posts and I agree with most.

You were asking why did I consider the dream 'revelatory.'

I gave some hints in my first reply. The theme is in line with prophetic revelation and Sue explained that one of her dreams seemed to have forecast the tsunami devastation.

The context of her dream indicates an event that cannot be understood as an individual situation but one involving groups of people in an apocalyptic setup.

I have had experiences with prophetic dreams where God reveals to me the outcome of a particular situation I'm going through or events that will happen to me in future. When they occur I have a sense of deja-vu and I can shape my attitude or actions according to what the dream revealed.

I also agree that the gift of prophesy is current and active within Christianity and that the Bible is the blueprint for further revelation.

Blessings to all.

Jorge,

Thank you for your response. Better late than never. Actually, I had completely forgotten about this post until someone else posted a dream on here. I know a lot of people are having prophetic dreams. I have had my share. Some I have seen fulfilled already, and some are yet to be fulfilled. Some I understand, some I have yet to understand, and some the understanding has been coming in pieces. It is interesting to see things I dreamt about come into focus.

I had this dream in March of 2005. I've had at least 4 dreams with encounters with Satan since October of 2003, and one really big one in March of 1990.

Tuesday, March 8, 2005: I just woke up from another dream. I think it was me and Rick in the house and he was asleep. I looked downstairs only to notice the front door was unlocked and partly open. So, I locked our bedroom door, only it felt more like a main door of some kind with a window beside it like our main front door and the lock was like the lock on our front door. I felt there was a bad man out there and I was able to get a glimpse of him. But, he did not try to come in. He stayed outside. And then I saw a figure of a man in what looked like a window that was very high up on the wall. I was frightened, but I did not try to wake Rick up, because he was still asleep. Then, there was something about my dreams/visions matching perfectly as though a mirrored reflection with Rick

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
