I do not understand why people keep threatening to leave the board when they get their feathers ruffled? Is it not possible to maturely make a point, forgive, or be forgiven and move on? Some feelings are self-inflicted due to the tone one writes in...most people would get defensive or offended.

Let's not take our marbles and go home. Staying and playing is a reasonable resolution. Maybe we all need more sleep or something (no more posts after midnite, lol).

Perhaps she was a little sensitive and the enemy blew a few things up, but the woman has tried to make amends.

THE ONE thing that I have noticed about this little incident is that it is just like in another incident NOT too long ago, I spoke out & spoke TRUTH--- I was conspicuously "ALONE" & when i said something about this standing "ALONE" I got ONE reply of support from a very nice young christian...ya know like--one for all--all for one-----

Nobody here stands as alone as I have I don't think. I know that I am not very well accepted here but I don't blame anyone for that. I am posting here because I choose to not because I think everyone should like me and agree with everything I say. The very nature of discussion boards is to discuss different views of things which inevitably leads to differences and sometimes tempers flare. I don't think the Lord looks as much on what mistakes we make as he does at how we react to them and how we grow and learn from it and try to make things right again. Clinging stubbornly to our own pride will only stagnate our growth in the Lord and serve to isolate us further. God ususally likes it when we do the humble thing, and the loving thing, because that's what will make things right again and break down the walls of pride and dissipate the negative energy which is born of pride. We need to close the channels that allow the enemy into our lives, and be loving and accepting of others even when we don't see eye to eye.

The reason you are having trouble moving on is because you still think you are right and they are wrong. Maybe they were wrong about some stuff but I can say from my own point of view and from reading your reactions to them, you were also wrong about some stuff. You need to forgive them and you need to be forgiven. I've seen willingness on their part. Are you willing to forgive them?

You just need to get what the Lord is trying to show you so you can go on and love your brothers and sisters. It's not worth it to let pride seperate you from others on here. For the most part I have enjoyed your posts but we all make mistakes. I would venture to say that most people here still like you and would like for you to stick around. I know some folks have "moved on. " Some folks are back to chit chattin and all that. But when one of us in injured, we all are. Gary, I am sorry. I am sorry you felt like you were alone. I am sorry that you felt that way right here in the smack middle of your family. Brother, we all know who's to blame for that. The enemy has stirred things up here and is sittin back laughing. But you know, Gary, you've been here long enough to know that you are loved by us. You'vve been here long enough to know that we don't take kindly to our own being hurt. Brother, pray about this. Not what led up to this, but this right now business. Talk to our FATHER about whether you should leave or stay.

Now - to everybody else - what in the blue blazes!!!! People. Family. We don't hurt one of our own and leave him laying in the battle field! C'Mon now. I am re-posting this prayer from another time.

Oh Father, thank you that we can come into your Presence Lord. Please, Father, guide me as I reflect on what is important. Please, Holy Spirit, teach me as I submit to your leading. Jesus, please shine your light into the darkenss so that I may see your path and your way.

I pray Father for the unity of the body. That we can come together in praise and worship, in teaching and guidance. May we always remember Lord, that we need each other. For you said

Eph 4:3-6 Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. One body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through all, and in you all.

Thank you Father, that the flock remains together. The strays are rounded up and brought into the flock and the weak and wounded are carried. Thank you for holding us firmly in your grasp.

Now Father, I ask that we remember that strife has no place in the flock. May we live with one another in unity and in joy. Father, you have given us all of you, may we learn how to give you more of us. In doing so Lord, we must learn how to give of ourselves to one another. May we remember that each one of us has a duty to fill to the body. For you said

The Original Poster is what you call a "Troll." They post just for the sake of stirring up controversy and then moving on. Of course, the controversy that came out of the original post suprised me. Prophesies that come after the fact (the folded bill thing) mean squat to me, and that's all I'd say on that issue.

Blood and Bride - well, I guess they left the boards, based on a post somewhere else that said they are leaving. I'm sorry they thought that this board contains a bunch of anti-newbie sharks. On the one hand I can see why they would feel that way; on the other hand - well, I fear to say lest my words be gossip or dragging on a debate that needs not continue at this point. If they be gone, then there is no point, really. (OK, I'm convincing myself to keep my mouth shut. I am, I am, I am keeping my mouth shut.)

So, why am I posting? I don't know, just felt the need to ramble some thoughts. I am sorry to see the contention that built up here. I was doubly sorry to see Gary and Patsy both express feelings of hurt and contemplating leaving.

Zeal without knowledge. Knowledge without love. Scripture without revelation. Revelation without Scripture.

They are all damaging.

I would have to say that most likely Jonathan was quite sincere about his post and judging by people's reactions just felt that people weren't willing to listen to what he had to say. Can't say that I can blame him for that! It's true that if people aren't familiar with the board they can feel a sense of rejection from quick judgements and criticisms. They could even feel hurt by it, especially if their motives for posting were sincere. Like Bride was trying to say, we could all be a little more sensitive to the feelings of others and strive more to post when posted through, to please the Lord and show His love to others.

So, why am I posting? I don't know, just felt the need to ramble some thoughts.

Thank you for sharing those insights with us! I too don't know what I'm doing half the time, ... but I feel I must do.......something! Now what that is....I'm not always sure but it has to be better than doing nothing....I think! Does that sound right?

You know what? I will tell you a secret. One day I had to go to town which left Gary home alone. I raise registered LaMancha goats and the Buck got out. He is huge and weights 150 pounds. Gary's mother started waving a branch in the Bucks face and the Buck got frightened and accidently knocked his mother down. Gary had no choice but to try to put him back in the pasture. This buck minds me really well, but not Gary. My goats don't have horns, but Gary bull dogged that goat to the ground. You talk about a tame buck after that. He minds Gary better than he ever minded me. Now everyone in our neck of the woods calls Gary either "Bull Dogging Champion" or "Goat Wrestler."

WeLL, DRATT----seems like i started a trend i can't seem to break,"That" having to come before ALL my "brothers & sisters" once AGAIN..IT seems I have a habit of engaging a somewhat faulty"speaking mechanism" before manufacturers originally installed self motivational micro-managed on-board computer is in fully operational order...Otherwise termed as "shooting my mouth off"..boy--does that hurt...Seriously tho I doNOT take those terms{Brothers--Sisters} lightly..

Those words Mean a lot more to me than just being generic terms that are sometimes tossed around rather randomly by religious people that really donot understand or want to understand the

TRUE meaning of "brothers & Sisters"...

Those terms designate a "relationship" among "BLOOD" relatives that carry with them other terms

implied &/or in actuality..Terms like--love,Trust,loyalty,faith in,protective of,would die for "IF" necessary...Maybe I'M just too old fashioned,or probably just one of the those that are actually "DUMB" enough to really "believe" things like that....I don't really know for sure,it seems like things are so confusing to me lately & i learn things so cotton-pickin slow....Lessons that are learned the "hard" way, but once learned "canNOT be forgotten & actually become a "PART"of your character,your identity,your beliefs,your very innermost being.....

I think i'm one of those that folks say "wears"their feelings or heart on their shirt-sleeve & get "hurt" a lot by doing that....I'M not real sure about that but it could be true....
