I think that islam is definitely fitting into the endtime scene. Walid Shoebat, an ex- palestinian terrorist who has become a Christian, has done some very interesting research on islam and the final beast.

it is my strong belief that the anti-christ "faith" will be a synergistic religion, combining many false beliefs. it will (actually, already does) honor any belief as long as it is not faith in the True Living God.

the anti-christ's faith will not be islam,(IMHO) but it will be the religion that can make peace with the muslims. When the time comes that the anti-christ forces need muscle to do their dirty work (bloody work), it makes sense that they could use their friends the muslims.

but the anti-christ spirit religion is already here and hard at work and is accomplishing amazing things, you would be quite surprised at what they've already pulled off, i know i was when i found out.

also, i wish to add to my above post: i do believe in the rapture, but i believe it is very possible that Christ's people will butt heads in some way with the devil's people before we get out of here.

You are right, Christ's people will encounter evil during the tribulation. But, I think those people will be the doubters that converted to Christianity after witnessing the rapture and being left behind.

What exactly, are we overlooking?

Islam is a very materialistic religion. If it wasn't so materialistic, why does it demand such a large tax every year from it's people. They also charge an enormous tax for muslim converts. They want to keep those people poor. Muslims are still preaching that wealth is a blessing from allah. Christians preach that there is more to receiving God's blessing than material wealth. Why wouldn't the beast want his people to be materialistic? Ultimately, he knows as long as people have wealth, they will worship themselves and less likely to worship God.

That was my point exactly. It's about the money. Banks are not temples (or churches), and temples and churches are not banks. In the description of Babylon, in Revelation 18:...

Revelation 18

The Fall of Babylon the Great

1 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily[a] with a loud voice, saying,

I think you are making the mistake of over-symbolizing. When it says the world will be forced to worship the beast or face death, I am certain it is talking about the anti-christ and his religion.

If anyone is making the mistake it is you. You are over symbolizing. I'm looking at what the word says, and it says nothing about false religion. This is the mistake people make when it comes to deciphering the prophecies; they have an idea of what they think it is, and set out to bend and twist the scriptures to match their theology. There is no bending and twisting on my part.

How do we know who will go when Christ returns? Do you honestly think that everyone in the churches of America will be caught up? I'm sure you don't, but are you able to look at someone and say for sure that they will go? I'm sure you could do that; but what if you had to stake your life on guaranteeing them that they would be caught up, would you do it then? Probably not.

This is a problem in American Christianity. People who you think wouldn't be going would probably tell you they are. Everyone wants to believe that they will be going when Christ returns, forgetting that Jesus told His disciples to "pray that in that day that you will be found worthy to stand before the Son of Man". But, do you ever hear any preaching on this topic.

Or what about where Jesus says (Matthew 17:21-23)

being a good Christian is not an easy job...

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
