You are saying that anyone who speaks anything evil against the holy Spirit is the unforgiveable sin.

what about the Baptist , they are Christians , but they don't believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, or believe that they happen to day !

they do believe that anyone who has the gifts of tongues, is of the devil, and not of God.

They say from the regional greek : tongues is or are Lanuages, like spanish etc; something you are taught to minister in that native lanuage. And chanting words that you can't understand but the spirit does, like your prayer lanuage to God. They believe this is from the devil they said stay away it is evil !

Would'nt you say this is Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit,? When someone is saying gifts from the spirit are in err ??

Blasphemy, especially against the Holy Spirit is something that is done knowingly. It is an act of rebellion. It does not include being skeptical of certain supernatural manifestations. People use "blasphemy of the Holy Spirit" to hammer others into submission. "You BETTER believe this is of God, or you're going to hell for blaspheming the Holy Spirit." Defenders of heretics like Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin use that all the time against those who cast doubt on their false teachings.

Blasphemy amounts to open, and intentional rebellion against God in a genuine, purposeful desire to injure God's reputation. That is what we saw with the Pharisess. We do not have ONE example of a true Christian in the New Testament committing such a sin. Annaias and Sapphira did not commit that sin. They were not speaking against the Holy Spirit, but lying TO the Holy Spirit. That is not Blasphemy.

Ultimately, blasphemy results in complete and final rejection of Christ, seeing it is rooted in unbelief. That is why it is unpardonable. No one who dies without Christ can be pardoned. One dead, your eternal destiny is forever sealed.

Question: "What is the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit?"

Answer: The case of "blasphemy against the Spirit" in the New Testament is mentioned in Mark 3:22-30 and in Matthew 12:22-32. The term blasphemy may be generally defined as "defiant irreverence." We would apply the term to such sins as cursing God, or willfully degrading things relating to God. It is also attributing some evil to God, or denying Him some good that we should attribute to Him. This case of blasphemy, however, is a specific one, called "THE blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" in Matthew 12:31. In Matthew 12:31-32, the Pharisees, having witnessed irrefutable proof that Jesus was working miracles in the power of the Holy Spirit, claimed instead that the Lord was possessed by the demon "Beelzebub" (Matthew 12:24). Now notice that in Mark 3:30 Jesus is very specific about what exactly they did to commit "the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit."

What was going on at the time Jesus said this?

What was HE being accused of?

What prompted him to say this?

Jesus was casting out devils through the Holy Spirit.

Attributing His doing this to satan was the blasphemy.

No tongues mentioned in here.

Everything is forgiven unto man.

John 3;16 "whosoever believeth in Him"

It doesn't say unless anything else.

I just don't see how you can judge the Baptists of committing the unforgivable sin.
