This day and age is very difficult for everyone especially those of us that are truly seeking the grace of God and His kingdom.

I have a story to share that hopefully will shed some light on what I have experienced lately to those who may not believe that the spiritual world is alive and in a great battle.

In the past few months I have grown closer to the Lord than I have ever been. During this time I have had much communication with our Father in conversation, dreams, through others and visions. I have also experienced such satanic attacks that I have been both freed from some bondages and paralized in others.

The freedom of the bondages have been through dreams and Jesus showing me that when I call on Him He will come to me and He will protect me. I have called on Him during dreams by saying "Jesus be with me" and He has come to me and He has done away with the spirit in my dreams that has haunted me forever by threatening the life of my daughter. I have been shown recently in 2 different dreams that in order to stay protected by the Lord I must stay in Him.

In the past 10 days all of the following has occured.

The first of these 2 dreams showed me on a rail road car but only about 1/4 of the car was covered like a shelter for me. In the beginning there were no windows or doors but there was light in the room. It was a white light. I felt no fear, I felt no joy. But there were no negative feelings while inside this shelter. Then I looked up and saw a window and out the window I saw movement of trees and something dark along the horizon of my vision. I thought to myself maybe it is a train and then I stepped out the door that was suddenly there. I did not go to the end of the train car I stayed close to the door. I found that I did not see a train but the train car was moving. In the distance I saw shapes of two riders on horses. I say shapes because I could still see through them and they were galloping toward me.They were spirits and they were coming for me. I lifted my arms and cried out to Jesus. "Jesus help me, please help me Jesus" He did not come instead I saw what appearded to be an old fashioned wrought iron fence and beyond it was desolation. On the fence was a thin sign. It was a warning sign. I do not know what it said I just knew it was a warning. Then I turned and went inside. Once again there were no windows and there was no door. Just the white light. Then I woke.

The second dream I had (please keep in mind that these 2 dreams were within just a couple of days from each other) my family and myself were running this place in whick we took care of both physically and spiritually ill people. I was outside and walking along and speaking to the multitudes of people that were in line waiting for healing. I stopped and spoke to a gruff looking woman who had her son with her and told her I was glad to see her again. Just then my mother walked into the right side of my peripheral vision and stepped in front of me. The gruff woman all of a sudden grabbed my mother by the front of her coat and started yelling at her because she had cut her off in the parking lot. I stepped in between them and told the woman that she is on my territory and she will behave herself or will not receive the care she needed for her son. She said "that's right this is your territory and I will behave but don't let me catch you or your family outside of your territory and in mine." Then I woke.

All last week my sister and I kept putting off the fasting we had planned to do. Of which I felt guilt over. Instead we were working and going to the casino on our off time. Friday night while I was there. I was playing a slot machine that got up over 400.00 and I began thanking Jesus for the blessing. Finally the Lord spoke to me and said "don't thank me, it isn't coming from me" then the machine would stop winning. After a time the winning would begin and I would thank God and He would say the same thing to me.

Unbeknownst to me until last night my sister went to the casino on Saturday. She too got onto a machine that was winning when she would speak out loud that she was thanking god she would keep winning when she would say it in her head the winning would stop. After a time she was answered also by God that it was not He who was blessing her.

Neither of us had seen the other until yesterday morning (Sunday) to attend church and I told her what had happened. Later that day she told me of her experience.

There is a holy war that is going on people one that none of us can physically see yet. God is sending out warnings to me and my family and I feel that He has called me to inform anyone who doubts that the spiritual world is thriving. Satan and his minions are so deceptive. And the closer we get to the Lord the more deceptive Satan is.

Please, please for your souls don't sell yourselves down the river for a little comfort in this world. Especially this day and age. Satan has been set loose on this world and the great harvest is coming. We are all in danger. We can all fall prey to the anti-christ gods of this world and not even be aware of it until it is too late. Jesus said stay awake. Don't let Him catch you sleeping or you could be left behind.

I am praying for everyone who belongs to the Church. We so need to wear our armor and use the gift of discernment that God gives us to protect us from the prince of this world.

Those were very interesting dreams you had and I agree that we are in a spiritual battle. I was not sure what you were trying to say through your experience at the casino unless it was that such things were a distraction from the things that really matter like prayer and fasting. That maybe Satan was allowing you to win so you would remain spending your time in the pursuit of money rather than the things of God? If that was not what you meant, please elaborate because I am not sure I follow you.

You are right in saying we are in a great warfare. If we are going to survive, we must remain close to Jesus and prayer and fasting are both important. Thanks for the warning and I appreciate your prayers. Have a great day.

Yes that is exactly what I was saying. Before the first dream I was very strongly considering a fast. In fact a point that I left out in the beginning of the dream was that I was at a house and all of my family was there. I was preparing food. Good food. And everytime I would make something one of my family members would come along and eat it. I grumbled in my mind about it. Then the next thing I find is a dish that has mustard. A delicious looking mustard with beautiful fresh red bell peppers, chopped onions and a meat of some kind. And I took all of the ingredients and layered them onto my fingers then dipped them into the mustard. But when I put it into my mouth there was absolutely no flavor. It was then that I went into the white room on the box car.

Onto the casino. I believe that satan is so deceiptful that he has the ability to fool us into believing that what we are receiving is from Christ. But God wanted me to know without a doubt that it was NOT Him that was blessing me. Once that realization struck, I was afraid. Afraid for my salvation. Afraid for my families salvation and afraid for the rest of our Christian community. These ARE the reasons Jesus said don't be caught sleeping. He surely does not mean a physical sleep but a spiritual sleep. He is warning us that even though we believe in Him we are still susceptable to satan's lies. And this day and age when things are so precarious in our world we need to remain alert and watchful.

I have turned my back on gambling and know that I too can become a pillar of salt if I turn back to look at what my flesh is missing out on. No thanks. I have chosen to walk in the Lord Jesus Christ alone.

And we will find the same verse spoken by the prophet Joel 2:28 and 29..

I have really debated posting this as I am really not quite sure it is the right place for it..

but I do feel a little differently as this dream will explain..

I am not to be fearful but stay alert to what God is doing and saying instead..

A couple of nights ago I dreamt of a great expanse of beach..

The water ,as I watched was on my left and the beach on my right.

up several feet from the white sands was where the seaweed and ocean debris was.

I knew there was a big wave coming and folks had been warned to get off of the beach and up to high ground.

Right now the waves were just normal in their behavior.Lapping at the white sands.

The beach was on an upward slope and up near the edge of the tree line, where the driftwood and debris was, were a few stragglers who were searching for little things to collect from the beach..starfish and things like that..

They were wearing the usual tourist clothing for the beach.

Shorts brightly colored shirts and they were not at all watching the ocean.

Nor did they seem at all concerned.

All they seemed to be concerned with was the beach combing.

There were only a handful of them there and they were the only ones left in danger of the coming wave.

I was not fearful as everyone had gone to safety who cared to heed the warning.

When we keep ourselves in Him and His will we really have nothing to fear..

18 And on my servants, and on my handmaidens, I will pour out in those days of my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.

God most certainly does use dreams today.

That's out of context.You need to go back and read that chapter again.It is speaking specifically of the tribulation,not present day.

And that is exactly the warning that I was receiving. As Jesus told the disciples in John 15..4 remain in me I remain in you..6 if anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned..

God wants me to be a productive fruitful branch. He wants us all to be fruitful..if we do not we should very much fear God as is spoken in Revelations. Fear the one who has the ability to throw us into the lake of fire.

It is very simple, at the end of verse 18 is a colon, which means a continuing thought.I don't see the things listed in verses 19 and 20 happening today,do you?

It says in the last days. Nearly everyone in the entire church world that I know of acknowledges we are living in the last days. There is no doubt the tribulation is mentioned after the verses I mentioned, but if you will notice in verse 16 Peter refers to what the people were seeing in his days were a fulfillment of this prophesy. The last days had begun at the formation of the Christian Church and continue today. He never said the signs would cease until the tribulation period, so I did not take this out of context.

verse 15 and 16

15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

16 But this is that which was spoken by the Prophet Joel,

Then comes the verses I gave earlier. Since it was already taking place, it can't be referring only to the tribulation period.

Why weren't dreams and visions mentioned in the letters to the churches then? Paul was careful to explain the use of other gifts and revelations, why didn't he include these?And how do you know what interpretation to use when interpreting a dream? Much less, how do you know it is even from God at all?
