Ah - Brother - I was not wondering if you were still carrying baggage from this experience, but asking if your wounds were healed. I think there is a difference between anger from betrayal, and pain. The anger can turn constructive, but the pain does damage.

Do you mind sharing who the pastors are that remained apart? I find that truly admirable.

Thank you God- Man for posting about your time on TBN. I found it very informative. I do not belong to TBN. I am partners with the Christian televison here in Florida. They have been haveing a telethon for the last week. Every single guest has been a different faith teachers. Big names like Richard Roberts, John Avazini, Rodney Howard Brown and others. Every night a different theme with a different target audience.

I have forced myself to watch as much as I can stomach. I don't think I will ever get over falling for this stuff. Part of me wants to believe that this telethon is worse than the others, but I know its not.

Today I actually heard the owner of the station say out of his own mouth that the Jesus was rich and that the only time he was poor was the three days of the cross and burial.

He also said that God does not expect us to live on earth poor when He is in heaven with streets of gold. These people believe that God wants us to be rich and healed so that heaven won't be such a shock.

CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!!!!

They take this from 2 Cor 8:9 which says "For ye know the grace our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for our sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich."

I may be wrong, but in doing my own Bible study I think that scripture has to do with being rich spiritually. I welcome any coments on this.

Praise to God for us that our out of this heresy and thats pray that the Almighty will let us help others.

Because our FATHER has streets of gold they say He wants us to be rich? LOL! I think the depiction of the streets of gold in heaven is to let us know that our earthly treasures are as dirt to the Father. While man toils and sweats and robs and steals to get jewels and gold and money, it is used as construction materials in heaven, of little worth!

How sad for someone to think that those things are what is important!

At the time I was working there John Hagee only paid air time, as well as Fred Price and that funny Pentecostal preacher who's name escapes me at the moment. I have seen that Hagee and the Pentecostal guy are part of the TBN family now, though.

Greg Laurie of Calvary Chapel Costal Mesa pays air time for his program, although he is opposed to the word-faith teaching. TBN also airs some other programs not affiliated with the TBN family. The Crystal Cathedral is one of these also, I believe.

That is their guilty conscious justifying their misdeeds. Most will go to their grave justifying and burn with turmoil not ever escaping their conscious. Most find it easier in the flesh to maintain their prosperity than worry about their soul and throw away those things that they covet. I don't envy the burden these people have.

This is less shocking than some of the other things I've heard on TBN, however. After TBN's first satellite was launched Jan read Rev. 14:6 aloud from her New Living Version of the Bible on the Praise the Lord program. After reading the verse, she turned to Paul, then to the camera and said, "That's us!" She believes that Rev. 14:6 refers to their satellite over which the TBN gospel is being preached.

U mean Jesse Duplantis? :t2:

BTW... TY for sharing this information concerning TBN. If there are discrepancies as to the way they represent themselves (TBN), people have the right to know. As a former employee I think you were astute to these things you have discussed. I do believe what you have written to be the truth!

Thanks for the info God-man. This is very interesting.

While you were there, did anything really positive and uplifting happen?

Yeah - I saw that! You don't suppose they are already puffed up do you? :x:

Thanks for sharing God-man. I hope you have found it in your heart to forgive them. Rest in the Lord's peace and know that you're a child of the King. If all this is true, they are only fooling themselves. Maybe they already have their reward? They will reap what they sow.

It is truely sad. But they may have started off with very good intentions?

I have never donated anything to this ministry, because I saw the red flags (gold diggers). This used to be the only christian tv I received for quite some time, so I was thankful, even though I knew that some of the preachers they had on were crooks, but then some I liked too, but mostly, I only cared for a few of their shows.

Don't be bitter friend, just be thankful that you were able to rise above it and overcome. Be happy that you are free and move on. There are many obstacles in our journey, but they only serve to strengthen us.

Be of good cheer God-man! Some may stumble and not finish the race, but you are still running! :t2:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
