This probably creates more questions...go ahead.

Modern physics is fatalistic? It tells us that there is no free will?

Not at all. There is soooo much more and fear I'm not conveying my point clearly. It is self-evident that we have free will in as much as I can choose to do jumping jacks right now or not (be right back).... ok..I just did 3 jumping jacks :) . That is my free will. Quite the contrary modern physics tells us that we surely have a free will. Just because time is already laid out does not mean this is fatalistic or that we don't have free-will. This time paradox comes from our conventional understanding of time.

The paradox (or logical contradiction) that time is already laid out AND that we have free will is from our conventional understanding of time. These both exist simultaneously: time is already laid out like a road AND we have the full power to choose (I can make an attempt to explain this; may have something to do with the fifth dimension which brings to light parallel universes..this may also explain the paradox of traveling to the past). Well...I'll try to explain it but it's just my understanding so don't take this in regards to a real researcher. I put it in quotes so it's easier to seperate from the original response.

This has to do with dimensions above the fourth (time). Let's look at what we see all aroudn us in 3-D and time. If we place a 3-D object on a table and leave it there, it is static (not moving). It is not moving in either the x, y, or z direction. But it is still "moving" in another dimension; time. Okay..let's simplify this even more. Say we live in a 2-D world. You can picture this by looking at a piece of paper. Draw a circle and put a dot in the middle (you're the dot). So when you turn around 360 degress all you see is a long line. Now which way could you move forever without hitting the circle or line? For a 2-D person this would seem impossible but the dot could move out of the paper...the third dimension...infinetely long without touching the circle. Let's call that time. You can do this by drawing on another sheet of paper the circle (in the same spot) and the dot somewhere in the circle. Imagine this sheet of paper above the original sheet of paper. if you keep doing this the dot would be moving 'up' the third dimension. This is just like those books where you flip through it with your thumb and a moving animation occurs. The stack of paper is like time. The bottom was the past and the top is the future. This for the 2-D dot is time (the third dimension).

Imagine another stack of the same thing next to that stack and another stack next to that one. These are the choices that the dot makes...which stack he chooses. This is like a translation of time (for the dot this is the fourth dimension). This is what we can say is a parallel universe...these stacks of paper never intersect. For those who watched those sci-fi movies this is why a parallel universe is like a duplication of the original universe (and traveling back to the past you would jump to a parallel universe with another you there and you would not affect the future whatsoever. You would just exist in another parallel universe with a twin).

Back on track....There are infinite stacks of these papers just as the stack of papers are infinetely high. So..if God can lay an infinite road he can know infinitely every inch of it right? So time is another dimension which God can know every second of it. And the fifth dimension (likened to our choice) is something an infinite God can know every banana of it (no unit of measurement for this dimension yet :) ).

Our universe is more complicated than we know! Quantum physicists are beginning to realize that what they are dealing with may not be comprehensible because it exceeds our power to perceive. What does the 5th, 6th and up to the 11th dimension mean? There may be no way for us to comprehend this. Although the String Theory is just providing a possible framework it so far is the only theory that has unified the 4 forces in the universe (this has been like a holy grail in physics). Even with Einstein's theories alone it is enough to tell us we truly dont understand time. Perhaps in the future when more things are discovered, words like fatalistic, pre-destination, or foreknowledge may take on totally different meanings or be scraped from our dictionaries altogether.

Whether the string theory holds or not we do know for sure that time itself is not what we intuitively think it is. But time and time again I find that the Lord's word holds true and the things of the Spirit exceed our human thinking...it's on an entirely different plane that exceeds ours. The string theory ultimately says that everything is like a vibrating string. A friend had mentioned that that could possibly explain how the world was framed by the Word of God.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
