Didn't He speak to Elijah and Moses the night He was praying that the cup be taken from His hands?

I don't think that was on the same night.

Also, Christ is and was God...he has...access...to certain things that we do not.

God doesn't mince words when it comes to talking to the dead:

"Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead." - Deut. 18:10-11 NIV (emphasis mine)

I didn't say that it was RIGHT to talk to the dead, only that it was possible.

We are not to "conjure" up the dead.

Did He say that we couldn't answer if the dead spoke to us first?

He was not talking a dead person. Luke 16:26 says there is a great gulf that cannot be passed.

I'm sorry to have to say this but I heard my dead grammas voice in my head telling me not to take highway 90 to work a couple weeks ago, so I didn't.There subsequintly was a train derailment in the road.

Now, was that an angel using a voice I would recognize and obey or was it her or was it a demon trying to save my life?

I haven't the faintest idea, but I most certainly wouldn't recommend starting to look for your grandmother's voice to give you advice all the time.

I did not look for or ask for her protection or warning.

I rely on Jesus for that.

I just know what happened.

Giaour, Since you did not seek this to happen I would think that most likely the Holy Spirit did what was necessary to get your attention. You do know what happened. However I would never think that the dead communicated to you for any reason whatsoever. I notice that you said it was inside your head. If an angel speaks to you that comes from the outside. The Spirit speaks from the inside of you.

It was not on the same day as Jesus' torment and prayer on the Mount of Olives but it did occur about 8 days after Peter confesses Jesus to be the Christ.

Luke 9:29-31 As he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became as bright as a flash of lighning, Two men, Moses and Elijah appeared in glorious splendor, talking with Jesus. They spoke about his departure, which he was about to bring to fulfullment in Jerusalem.

I question this person's thinking and soundness of mind. And that is what I will pray about.
