More of the Gospel of Jesus:

John 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

15:2 Every branch in me that bears no fruit He cuts off: and every branch that bears fruit, he prunes it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

15:3 Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in me.

15:5 I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, he brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.

15:6 If a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch that is withered; and He (the Husbandman) men (men is a supplied word, context governs, verse 2 says that the husbandman cuts off the withered branches) gathers them, and casts them into the fire, and they are burned.

Here the words of Jesus are quite clear. We will look at each verse to compare the words of Jesus with the words of man.

Here Jesus says that He is the vine and His Father is the Gardener.

John 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Jesus Says:

Here in verse 2, Jesus says that there can be branches in Him, saved people, that bear no fruit. Those who don't bear fruit, His Father cuts off. Those who do bear fruit, He prunes, disciplines, molds them.

15:2 Every branch in me that bears no fruit He cuts off: and every branch that bears fruit, he prunes it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Man Says:

Saved people can't be lost or cut off, that the bearing of fruit has nothing to do with Salvation.

Some say that once Saved, a person will naturally bear fruit, as though they lost their free will and carnal nature.

Jesus Says:

Here Jesus stresses that all in Him are clean. They have been saved.

15:3 Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Man Says:

Those who don't bear fruit were never really saved.

Jesus Says:

Here Jesus tells those who are in Him, saved, that they need to abide in Him. Why would He do that if it came naturally. The bearing of fruit is dependent on the believer and the use of his will.

Man Says:

God does it all. Man can do nothing to affect his salvation.

Jesus Says:

Here Jesus says that those saved people who don't abide in Him will be cut off from Him by His Father the Gardener and tossed into the Lake of fire. What a warning to those who think they have a free cruise to heaven. This is why many are called, but few are chosen. Judgment separates the Wheat from the Tares in the Church, the withered branches from the fruit bearers.

15:6 If a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch that is withered; and He (the Husbandman) men (men is a supplied word, context governs, verse 2 says that the husbandman cuts off the withered branches) gathers them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

Man Says:

Saved people can't be put in the fire. They say that the judgment of the church only has to do with how many rewards you get when you get to heaven. Hmm.

Seems to be quite a difference between the Gospel of Jesus and the teachings of man. How can these things be. Could it be that Jesus is right and man has brought in 'another gospel'.

If it is another Gospel, could it be from 'another jesus'.

God Bless,

Dennis

More of the words of Jesus:

Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, to lead us into all truth:

Joh 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now.

16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.

16:15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.

Notice He did not leave us commentaries or theologians to lead us, but His own Spirit. Now if the Holy Spirit is doing His job, how can we have the myriads of doctrines and theological clubs which are, at times, directly contradictory of each other. Where is the Spirit of truth who is leading into all truth? There are only a few possibilities. Either Jesus lied, which I doubt any here hold, or the Holy Spirit is not beling allowed to lead many into the truth. Maybe its time to let the Holy Spirit do His Job.

Could it be that is why Jesus is on the outside, knocking to get back in.

Ro 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

8:9 But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

The Spirit of Christ is the Spirit of truth.

God Bless,

Dennis

If the Holy Spirit can't lead into all truth, then He can't sanctify anyone or make them holy, for this is how He sanctifies.

Joh 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

17:18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

Surely there must be some who are concerned about this lack of the Holy Spirit's leading. To the outsider, the christian world seems like utter confusion, the definition of Babylon. Those who are led by God to seek the truth and will not be content with confusion.

The Christian loves the truth and seeks for it as for 'hidden treasure', and 'he who seeks, finds'.

May God bless with the truth,

Dennis

The Gospel of Jesus is not just the 'good news' about forgiveness of sin. This is good news indeed, but there is much more to the Gospel than this.

Jesus calls it the 'Gospel of the Kngdom' or the 'good news' of the 'Kingdom of God' come down to earth.

Mt 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

The 'Gospel of the kingdom' also includes the identification of the 'kingdom of anti-christ', the 'abomination of desolation' who offers a false Jesus, counterfeits His kingdom and the preaches a false gospel.

Mt 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (Jesus will return for His people)

24:15 When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, whoso reada, let him understand: (This 'abomination of desolation' is talked about in Daniel 11:31 and Daniel 12:11, describing the fourth beast or nation that would arise to persecute God's people, this nation was Rome.)

The 'Gospel of the Kingdom' also includes 'Repentance for sin'. for one cannot 'believe unto Salvation' unless and until they 'repent of sin', which is 'disobedience' of His will, word or law.

Mark 1:14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent, and believe the gospel. (all of the Gospelof the kingdom.)

You see, the whole Bible, is about the kingdom of God and His enemies and the war that is waged between them.

God Bless,

Dennis

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
