creation question

Hey all... i have a question about what comes first! im learning about creation in confirmation, and im a bit confused about the order of things. I know God created the earth, light, animals, adam and eve and such... but where do the dinosaurs and primates fit in? do they come before or after bible times? and what do fossils of primates and such have to do with god? any information is welcome. thanks guys!

Greetings to you, lisaloo! I will be happy to try to answer your questions, as to the best of my ability. I don't know much, and certainly not all, but I will try to steer you in what I consider to be a Biblical position, and would suggest that you dig deeper into it for yourself and see if what I am saying might be true. There are a ton of great websites out there, but be assured that not everybody will be 100% correct in everything that they teach. By the way, what is confirmation?

I know God created the earth, light, animals, adam and eve and such... but where do the dinosaurs and primates fit in?

Well, everything was created in 6 days, about 6,000 years ago, according to the Bible.

Dinosaurs are nothing more then HUGE lizzards (reptiles never stop growing). If people were living to be 900+ years old, then we should expect everything to be growing much older as well. If you take a mature 'dinosaur' (the Bible--KJV--calls them dragons) and place him in the garden of Eden, all you have to do is wait a few hundred years and you have a huge animal.

The Flood during Noah's days was in the year 1656 (about) and in that amount of time animals would be HUGE....especially ones that never stop growing.

If you are talking about 'monkey-men' when you say primates, I would just say that there never has been such a thing. People dream that stuff up to fit with evolution theory, which has no real basis in science.

People (Satan) are desprite to disprove God and the Bible so they had to come up with an amazing theory to get people to believe in. Well, he succeeded, didn't he? But God prophecied 2,000 years ago that this theory would become popular.

Yes, I am saying that God told us thousands of years ago that this false theory of the origin of life (evolution) would be popular.

Read 2 Peter 3:3-13 very carefully. It tells us all about it.

1. People will scoff at the Bible (the fact that God created the world)

2. People will be 'dumb on purpose'

3. People deny the coming of Jesus

4. People use uniformitarinism as their excuse to discredit a young-earth belief (v. 4--all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation)

5. They deny the Flood during Noah's days (v. 5)

6. They deny any coming judgment

These are amazing things I am talking about. There are a TON of websites to look over. I want to warn you, be careful to study these things with the Bible as your only Authority, because at your time of Judgment, it will be only you and God...your teachers and the world won't be there to plead your case for you. In other words, don't believe everything you hear or read. Here are a few websites:

Just this weekend, my daughter gave me a book entitled: "Unlocking the Mysteries of Creation" by Dennis R. Petersen. The subtitle is: "The Explorer's Guide to the Awesome Works of God".

From what I have seen thus far, it appears to be an excellent resource for Christians. With it came a CD which I haven't been able to look at yet, but I should be able to cut and paste articles from it as I begin to study the book in more depth.

Endure did a very good job and there are plenty of good sites for Christians to use. Here is the web site for this author:

I would also say that Job 41 is talking about a fire-breathing dragon. Don't think they exist?

Why would the Asian's have it featured so dominantly in their history?
