I just had the most refreshing visit with an elder saint of the Lord. She is pushing 80 years old, and filled with knowledge of the Word. The Lord called her to teach about 50 years ago, and sitting at her table was a real treat. Among the many things she said that blessed me I would like to share this one with you.

She asked me a question. "What can one learn about the Lord from an orange?"

What she told me was so simple even a child could grasp it, and yet rich in wisdom.

She said the orange has three parts, yet it is just one piece of fruit.

The outer part, the peel, is the part that holds it all together. The fruity part is the meat that we eat of and receive nurishment. Inside the meat is the seed, which is given to produce more, bearing witness to the fruit.

Can everyone see that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is a Trinity, yet One God.

Bless the Lord O my soul, and all that is within me ,bless His holy name! God is good!! Don't ya just love Him with all your heart, soul body and mind!!! He is truly worthy!

I am having trouble replying to your replys. Seems I am logged in but when I reply a window pops up asking me to log in over and over. Anyway...I said all that to reply to those below who seemed to misunderstand what I said.

I did not say three oranges. I said one orange with three parts. The peel which is represented as the Father. The meat which is represented as Jesus, and the seeds which is represented as the Holy Ghost. A Trinity, yet One. Just as we are seperate from the Lord, yet together as one with Him. Hope that clears something up for those who misunderstood.

Does it take three oranges to make one God?

Here's how I see the Holy Trinity. Our sun has three: 1.heat 2.light and 3. energy, yet there is only one sun, not three.

Here how I see it in my mind:

Jehovah God the Father who is the Creator, the Redeemer and Regenerator is meant by the sun's heat, light and energy.

This one God became Man under the name Jesus Christ. There was no trinity before creation. God is one in Person and in Essence.

There was no Son of God and Holy Spirit before creation. Redemption and sanctification take place after creation when Jeovah God became Man.

There was no Holy Spirit before creation, because there were no humans to sanctified. There no Son of God, because there no humans to redeem.

Jehovah God the Father is the Redeemer, because it is written in John, The light is come into the world and men loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil (John 3:19).

Here's proof that Jehovah God the Father is the Savior and Redeemer.

Am I not Jehovah, and there is no God else beside Me? A just God and a Savior, there is none beside Me (Isa. 45:21, 22).

I am Jehovah; and beside Me there is no Savior (Isa. 43:11).

I am Jehovah thy God, and thou shalt acknowledge no God beside Me and there is no Savior beside Me (Hos. 13:4).

That all flesh may know that I Jehovah am thy Savior and thy Redeemer (Isa. 49:26; 60:16).

As for our Redeemer, Jehovah of Hosts is His name (Isa. 47:4).

Their Redeemer is strong; Jehovah of Hosts is His name (Jer. 1:34).

O Jehovah, my Rock and my Redeemer (Ps. 19:14).

Thus said Jehovah, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, I am Jehovah thy God (Isa. 48:17; 43:14; 49:7).

Thus said Jehovah, thy Redeemer, I am Jehovah that maketh all things, even alone by Myself (Isa. 44:24).

Thus said Jehovah, the King of Israel, and His Redeemer, Jehovah of Hosts, I am the First and I am the Last; and beside Me there is no God (Isa. 44:6).

Thou, O Jehovah, art our Father, our Redeemer; from everlasting is Thy name (Isa. 68:16).

With everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, said Jehovah, Thy Redeemer (Isa. 54:8).

A person with an open mind can see with their understanding that Jehovah God,who is one, came down and was made Man in order to effect redemption, which is meant by the light

Those who in their ignorance believe that there was a trinity of three persons before creation, and that the son of god from this man made trinity was sent, close their eyes to those Divine sayings, and ponder with their eyes shut on how to pervert them and make them square with their false ideas.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
