Face it. no one knows what is right or wrong. We just follow our hearts, do we not? It is there we find ourselves to be guided toward our own beacon. Therefore, our inner selves is the right path. A path to your beliefs, or to mine.

very popular (but humanistic and incorrect) rationalization.

ok, let me ask you this. let's say you have a child. you tell your child not to bite. or spit. or cuss. or whatever. your child does it anyway, even though you have told him not to. do you excuse the child's behaviour because "well, nobody knows what is right or wrong"...? even though you have taught your child that there are rules and consequences and that biting/spitting/cussing/whatever is a violation of those rules?

if you have passed the test to obtain a legal driver's license, you know that there are certain laws, or rules, that we must abide by. if you go speeding at 60 mph through a 15 mph school zone, you're violating the rules. are you going to tell the judge you should be exempt from a fine because "nobody really knows what is right or wrong"....? or do you know that you messed up and did something wrong when you sped through the intersection narrowly missing a dozen six year olds?

justaguy, God is our Heavenly Father. He is our final authority. HE established rules that we are to abide by. whether you agree with them or not is irrelevant to the fact that He makes the rules and when we violate them, we are wrong.

whether you believe in God or not, you have an engrained knowledge that murdering your next door neighbor because his dog was barking last night is WRONG. that is not "your inner self" making up those directions to some vague and indefinable "right path". that is God's law that you are following, even if you don't acknowledge Him as the author.

Pedophile are our problems. Gays are not. Serial killers are a problem. Abortionist are not.

Abortionists ARE serial killers!

Ah, I see. So are you right or wrong about what you just wrote?

Neither? Yet your statement imply that you are trying to have me to VIEW you 'right' about an issue. Not very consistent are we?

Who is right or wrong? The one's own path to inner self.

Kumbaya!

How very "Zen" of you justaguy.

You know something interesting about a man who lives in the dark all of his life? He doesn't actually know that's he's in the dark until he sees that light. Even then he cannot comprehend it because he knows it not.

I'm not after being right. I'm after you being able to comprehend what light is.

there is no room for misinterpretation on many things God tells us, justaguy. and homosexual activity is one of those things in which there is no such room. He makes it unmistakably and undeniably clear what His law is on that issue.

I don't listen very well? you're the one still insisting that homosexual acts are not a violation of God's law and stating that nobody can know the difference between right and wrong. :o

ya know, it wouldn't matter whether we agreed with it or not. simple fact is, those who do not repent and turn from the sin of homosexual activity will not enter the kingdom of heaven. God's rules, not ours.

what would be unfair is to let people continue in the delusion that they can gratify their own desires without any remorse or repentance and suffer no eternal consequences.

i'll let myself imagine a tormented soul in hell asking me "why didn't you TELL me?" i wonder how i should respond... maybe "because i didn't care" or "because i was too chicken" or "because i thought it would be more fair to let you do what you want and spend eternity blaming me".

no thanks.

the fair thing to do is tell them what the eternal consequences are and then let them be accountable for their own decisions.

only the secular world is discounting it. the PC world.

this isn't about being a choice of a straight person. it's about being a choice to act or not to act. period. in God's eyes we are all equal... there is no straight, bi, or homosexual. there are just people who choose to act according to His will or in opposition to it.

the only measure of equality in His kingdom is "those who knew Him", "those who didn't", and "those who exchanged the truth for a lie".

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
