In closing, I want to share an article I once read that was unrelated to homosexuality. It said experiments have shown that a vast number of different, apparently unrelated organisms have processes that give their offspring new traits. Some of these traits make it easier for those offspring to survive and reproduce. Some of them make it harder. Like homosexuality.

Therefore, I believe homosexuals are born with it. It's the complexed micro world of building an organism, that even in that process, it is prone to mistakes. Maybe you need to blame your nearest gene. Not the product it produced.

I know it's hard to see it since it is easier to blame a person whom should be just like you. But maybe show some compassion within yourself that other people suffering have it worse than you. And avoid adding insult to injury by reminding them that YOUR clique agrees that it is fair to send them to Hell.

MALARKEY.

In that same breath, we see some choices from some people are harder to make than other people. While you and I enjoy ourselves without that urge, some are to the point they will suffer through out their life time.

Makes it easier to say they are going to Hell, now don't it? Not your fault. The conditions for you to go to heaven was to accept the law that said gays are wrong. This from not God but from a person who said it came from god.

What? Is there a short-term memory deficiency here? Do you live in a bubble? We have told you God says it is a sin. He expects us to refrain. Obey God. It's not hard when you have been recreated by His Son, Jesus. For those who find it difficult, there is deliverance available.

i'll say what axe said. MALARKEY. we ALL have things we struggle with. sexual sin is the single most tempting problem ANY of us face, regardless of what form that sin takes. whether it is homosexual activitiy, heterosexual promiscuity, adultry, lust, porn (more lust), incest, beastiality, pedophilia, you name it, if the person struggling with it is UNREPENTANT they will not see the kingdom of heaven.

homosexuals are at no more or no less of a risk than heterosexuals in that regard, and have it no better nor worse than we do.

quit trying to justify sexual sin. you're the one being discriminatory by implying that THAT form of sexual sin should be given special status.

oh, i'm not letting you off that easy justaguy. YOU were the one making us out to be a clique that thinks we are better than gays, and YOU are the one saying that gays have it harder than we do, and YOU are the one trying to give homosexual behaviour a special "protected" status.

like it or not, the behaviour is what is sinful, and is no more difficult than any sexually sinful behaviour that heterosexuals struggle with. we aren't saying "you're going to hell nya nya", we're saying that God says that sexual sin will lead you there, regardless of your "orientation", because all actions are by choice.

we've examined the plank in our own eyes.

Our argument is with homosexuality. Everything else you mention will be saved for future arguments. I am pretty dog gone sure I am quite comfortable on my position toward this subject. That is why I am hanging around. Now if you want to start a sinning thread on, lets say lust, I'd gladly join you there.

Trust me on this, you two wouldn't know what malarkey is even if you step on it.

Well, I'm Irish.

I knew it!

you're right 2ndeve, there IS a lot of ignorance about homosexuality... mostly among those who support it. there's a lot of hype in its defense that is unproven scientifically but yet people like to spout off all this scientific evidence which the scientific community rejects as being statistically insignificant at best.

but mostly the ignorance about homosexuality is as it pertains to humanity and God.

and it's ok though that you see nothing wrong with it. what matters is that God sees something terribly wrong with it, and he's the one who will judge their eternal souls.

Leviticus 20:13

13)If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman,

both of them have committed an abomination:

they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Yeah, I'd say God has a big problem with homosexuality.

so..... you're trying to say that God's ok with homosexual acts as long as it's not done in a woman's bed? that is the most STUPID thing i've ever heard. :)

Wisdom and understanding comes from God. People who want very badly to stay in their sin will undoubtedly believe a lie.

I believe that this passage does not refer to all homosexual behavior, but only to a specific form of homosexual prostitution - that performed in a Pagan temple.

The National Gay Pentecostal Alliance (NGPA) states that a word-for-word translation of this verse from the original Hebrew is:

"And a man who will lie down with a male in beds of a woman, both of them have made an abomination; dying they will die. Their blood is on them."

In modern English this could be translated as:

"If two men engage in homosexual sex while on a woman's bed, both have committed an abomination. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."

This does not generally forbid homosexual behavior between two men. It only limits where the act can be done.

Just because someone perverted and mistranslated that Bible verse to suite their homosexual ways, doesn't make true.

Lev.20:13

13)If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman,

both of them have committed an abomination:

they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

That translation is the KJV1611, you don't get more accurate than that.

The truth is given here, take it or leave it but disobeying it is on your own head.

If I may respond. Wisdom and understanding comes from time. Don't you think religion has a double edge sword? People who want very badly to go to heaven will undoubtedly believe in a lie?

See, that's your way of thinking. I know you're wrong. You say that Jesus is a lie, why hide that in your wording now?

What are you afraid of?

Afraid it's you who are wrong so you need so badly to convince someone else, justifying your lack of faith and possibly help you sleep tonight in the process. It's very clear that you continually try to flood your targeted threads, repeating information that goes completely against scripture again and again, even after you've been corrected on the same issues with scriptural proof, why? Who are you trying to convince, really?

Have you made it a mission to convert new believers to atheism because you clearly have no intention of accepting the truth,

which has been offered to you abundantly here.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
