Rom 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Does this include suicide?

It is possible for a true believer to commit suicide. Despair in this world can even drive a Christian to take his own life. Yes, it is a sin but it is not required that we repent for each specific sin in our life to have our sins covered by the blood of Christ. Suicide is horrible and sad but not the unpardonable sin.

I agree with that..

But let me share an experience..

For many years I did not know that and it helped me to beleive it was not forgivable..

that fear was good for me...

When I was strong in the Spirit of the Lord ...then I found out it was not unforgivable..

by then I had enough understanding to know what the spirit was doing to me and was fighting with the Lord against it..

I hope that made sense to you...I still remember the day I saw it for what it was...

that spirit that wanted me dead...

It could not decieve me any more ...

Once I saw it , it lost its power over me....

God is amazing...

The devil is out to destroy you if he can and he uses any trick he can..

But God is able to save us from any snare the enemy sets for us...

We are safe in Him no matter what we are going through!!

I have too much of a "fearful respect " for lack of a better way to express it, to even think that way....

I would not want to answer to Him for that..because although I will not lose my salvation I do believe I would lose something...

rebellion against God is a serious act.....

Good point, Tah. Also, I think it all comes down to a matter of trust, trusting God to know when it's our time to die, trusting Him that He has a purpose and a mission for our lives. He's sovereign. He decides who lives and who dies, and He's good. He loves us and wants only good for our lives. He can be trusted to do the right things with our lives when we give them to Him.

Holy Father, arise and shine you light in this darkness. Break the power of sin and death in the life of you child. Breath life into him, dear Father. Even in the darkness, You are there. Let him see you, Father. Turn his darkness into light, his desert into springs. Heal him, Father, I ask and pray in Jesus' precious name. Amen.
