My point was that congress is not aloud to make laws about religion, and they are not to favor one religion over another as a government institution. THIS DOESN`T MEAN ME OR ANYONE ELSE CAN`T PRAY IN A COURT ROOM, OR A SCHOOL. It also doesn`t mean that the president can`t perform any religious ceremonies ect.

Ignorance by choice is stupidity

godlessness by choice is pushing yourself further away from God than even Satanists! Even the demons of hell acknowledge Gods` existance!

Furthermore instead of giving examples I`ll make it simple. The only way for fascism to work in America is if our ENTIRE government had the same veiw and was willing to do what the president asked, even if it meant killing all the Jews, or the blacks, or whatever as this is often on the coat-tails of a fascist dictatorship. Also our entire military would have to comply, as well as the teachers, farmers, social workers, immagrants, and police,. If these people didn`t comply then they would rise up against the government and would refuse to work for them

For the people, by the people means fascist pigs cannot dictate to us because we dictate to them! We tell them what to do and if they don`t like it they can quite, or we can fire them which is exactly what is happening to congress right now.

Lastly there is NO SUCH THING as islamic, or christian fascism. If it is fascism, it is against Christ and if it is against Christ it is therefore unchristian. It is very anti-christian, and noone can tell me that genocide is what Christ wants for his people!

I understand frustration, believe me. But everyone has their own opinions. And they don't believe their understanding comes from lies and assumptions but we know differently. As far as you being addressed did I not take the time to address your post regarding adam and eve? It took some effort and I gave you what you asked for. Let go and let God, read your bible and don't engage in threads that are going to make you frustrated. Let the Holy Spirit guide you and listen for His messages. It's really not worth it to get angry. And there are members here who will listen.

Zealotry out of control can 'lead' to fascist control over people. In my original topic I said " I fear the rise of Fascism in Christianity. Don't think it could'nt happen here! Can lead to-is not saying we live under Christian rule....Yet.

I fear the rise of of a form of Christian Fundamentalist Fascism in this country. Does anyone else agree that seperation of church and state is an all important part of our consitutional rights? I can only hope that liberals and moderate conservatives can see clearly this threat to civil liberties. I have grown up believing in the individual freedoms that not too long ago I took for granted. But organizations like the Christian Coalition seem to have an agenda to impose their own idea of morality and values on the rest of us. I am very suspicious of a religious group that becomes so political in this country! And how we have stood by and let it happen...Politics and religion should never be allowed to mix. I hope we americans never see the day when the church once again becomes the strong arm of the law! Maybe I sound paranoid, but think about Nazi Germany in the early 1930's...far fetched you say? The dangerous world we live in seems to be the perfect breeding ground for religious fanatics! The silver lining to all this is so far we have a right to speak out in America and protest peacefully. Even forums such as this can be a start for these issues to be discussed.---And Now!

Comparring the Christian coalition to Nazis?? Boy thats a real stretch. You might recall the Nazis killed millions and millions of people. They also were no followers of Jesus Christ or any religion for that matter. Why do Christians have to get involved with politics? That a real simple question to answer, because our politicians create and pass laws that are against the moral good of society. Abortion is the easiest example to show but there are others. We live in a country where a women can walk into a clinic and kill an unborn human life in the third trimester. We aren't talking about killing a unborn baby 12 weeks into a pregnency but rather talking a human life that is minutes away from being fully born and sticking a pair of scissors in the back on the neck of the baby and terminanting a life. (This is clearly murder and if that same pregnant women walked into a gas station and was killed during a robbery the robber would be tried on two counts of murder, so you tell me wants the difference?) When put in these terms, most people would say thats sick and might add very Nazi like. So what do we do as people of this great country, sit back and say hey keep killing babies we aren't going to get involved. No we vote for pro-life politicians who have the common sense to realize that killing babies is very bad. Groups such as the Christian coalition are leading the fight on such moral issues.

It can't happen here, we are all believers in Jesus Christ. It's not rule to us but that God wants the best for us. There has to be laws and rules. Wouldn't you agree? But to say that we are zealots out of control and can lead to fascism is so out of the total spectrum of God's plan and ultimate design.

The Holy Spirit would tell me to go if I didn't believe what my brothers and sisters believe but we are all bonded and connected by our faith. It's so simple that you can't see the forest through the trees. You seem to be so hung up on worldly expressions and "words" that non believers who do the same don't bother to seek the truth. Not one Christian will say we are perfect. But we will be in the end. Can you say the same?
