The devil does indeed know his days are numbered. But we know his out come and we know that everything else may pass away, but not the Word of God. It will stand forever no matter what the devil tries to do. We are exhorted to hold fast to sound doctrine. As we can see from the Episcapalian church, there is a great falling away from the Lord going on.

We as Christians need to follow the example of the early disciples and keep on telling it like it is, keep on speaking the name of Jesus and obey God rather than man. It could mean persecution for some. However, we know what the end result will one day be.

I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

His name is Jesus! His Word is truth and life. Not one dot nor tittle(period or comma) will be changed from the Word of God. He said it, that settles it.

"Come now, let us reason together, saith the Lord; though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient ye shall eat the good of the land; but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured by the sword; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it." Isaiah 1:18-19

Our loving heavenly Father is a good God. He is not willing for anyone to perish. I am so very thankful He is so patient with us. We need to always pray for our nation and others and the leaders. We need to always pray for the body of Christ.

His Word is an absolute. He says what He means and he means what He says. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom. The one thing I see missing most from many people today is the fear of the Lord.

"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: fear God, and keep His commandments; for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

"Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears released. How precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed. "

Don't be tossed to and fro by the vain philosophies of man nor anything else that will detour you from holding tight to the Word of God and keeping sound doctrine close to your hearts. Keep on keeping on. There's a harvest to bring in. :-)

AMEN!!!!

We as Christians need to follow the example of the early disciples and keep on telling it like it is, keep on speaking the name of Jesus and obey God rather than man.

AMEN AGAIN!!!!

AMEN AMEN!!!!

Your post sums it all up well. It is good to see that there are still witnesses that know what matters most... the Good News of Jesus Christ! Sometimes we get bogged down in the details and miss the point of it all.

God Bless,

Amen Jesus Saves. I believe the law being spoken of will come to America sooner than we think. We know our Bibles will be taken away someday so we should start putting a few where they won't be found by anyone until we need them. The Bible will be outlawed someday and you can count on that.

Kenan I hate to break this to you but...

...let the Hindu down the road sue me then, beacause God's Word is true. There is NO other road to heaven but by Jesus Christ and if anyone rejects Him, they most certainly will go to hell.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Like Mike above said. "God hates sin" Amen!

Kenan - I wont debate the Word of God with you because I do not believe you have the ability or the real desire to see the truth right now.

However I did read your journal with the link you gave me and all I can say is, is that it is very very sad indeed and you really need go to the Lord and ask Him to help you not to be so driven by your feelings and emotions. You need to have some stability in God's Word and I am praying for you that He will show you this.

You have a deep problem and the Lord does want to help you.

And you are right in one respect...you do have an attitude.

no the Christian belief is that there is one way to heaven, to the secular world they see this a discrimination and hateful, i know cause i was once there i saw the bible as a hate message the phraises i gave r the same u will find in the secular socity, like it or not that is how it is viewed.

my best friend agrees with Metallica "birth is pain, Life is pain, Death is pain, Its all the same" and that is because the bible says there is only one way out, ppl want more than that they want many ways to get to Heaven or Nirvana, or Pugitory, whatever u want to call it. but u know wut there is only one way and that is wut turn ppl away tell ur neibhor that his good karma isnt going to do him any good and the public eye will say u r discrimnitory

so my other 2 posts on this thread r tru. im sry it is but that is how the Christian belief is thought of.

Kenan - Yes I know you are right in saying that is how they (the world-unsaved) think of it and see it only because that is all they want to see but they do not see the solution to all the pain and the ONLY way to get to heaven and that is Jesus Christ.

If anyone from some cult or another religion asked me how to get to heaven I would have absolutely no qualm in telling them how to and telling them that if they do not accept what the Bible say's then yes, they will have an eternity with-out Christ separated from Him in hell.

It's very plain and simple and to the point but man is the one that makes it so complex and sadly sometimes Christians make it complex as well.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
