Jordan's King Abdullah II said Tuesday that until Israel ends its occupation of Palestinian lands and gives Palestinian their rights, the cycle of violence will continue in the region and its effects will be felt throughout the world.

http://www.worthynews.com/news/jpost-com-s...rticle-Printer/

When the King of Jordan refers to "Palestinian Lands" he including All of Israel. The uniformed West assumes he only means the West Bank and E. Jerusalem. The violence that Israel is subjected to, predates Israel's presence in the West Bank. If the violence is the product of Israel's presence in the West Bank, how does that account for the fact that the Six Day War started when Israel was not in the WestBank? Furthermore how does it account for the war of independence in 1948 and the Suez War in 1956? How does it account for the decades of terrorism committed against Israel prior to 1967? The root of the violence is Arab/Muslim hatred for Israel, period.

The goal has always been to dismantle Israel completely.

Nonsense as usual, Jordan and Israel signed a peace treaty in 1994 in which Jordan explicity recognises the Pre-1967 Israeli borders. Abdullah here is refering to East Jersusalem and the West Bank.

Paper agreements, contracts, treaties are meaningless in Islam. You are just gullible. Jordan no more recognizes Israel's right to exist than any other Arab country does. The creation of Israel is, in Muslim eyes a reversal of history. It is an insult to Islam because the land of Israel was once under Muslim control, and any land under Muslim control is Muslim land for all eternity. For the state of Israel to be created on Muslim Land and for Arabs to be citizens of a Jewish nation, subject to Jewish sovereignty is something that cannot be tolerated. There is NO Arab country that is not in favor of the complete and utter dismantling of Israel and dispersal of the Jews to be either Dhimmis under Arab control or refugees in other countries.

It is utter foolishness to think that you can force/impose your two-state "solution." The Arabs will not accept it, because they will not allow the Jews to have a nation on the land the Muslim world considers Muslim land.

No, they are facts. In Islam treaties are nothing but a gimmick to buy time until their strength is sufficient to take what they want by force. I realize that facts are meaningless to you, but you are impotent to refute them.

Got to agree totally with shiloh here amor. You talk about errors highlighted but to be quite honest the facts speak for themselves, and if you cannot see what is really happening and what has been historically proved, you have as much a grasp on the middle east situation as a jaffa orange.

The fact is that Jordan signed a treaty with the Israelis recognising the pre 1967 frontiers, the latter presumably wouldn't have bothered sighning it if they felt it was worthless. Furthermore the Jordanians have long, even before the treaty, had a good day-to-day working relationship.

Why then does he sound like the violence in the middle east is Israels fault?

Jordan's King Abdullah II said Tuesday that until Israel ends its occupation of Palestinian lands and gives Palestinian their rights, the cycle of violence will continue in the region and its effects will be felt throughout the world.

There is no cycle of violence. What he means to say that until Israel bows and scrapes at the feet of the Muslim world and gives into every insane demand with no concrete demonstration from the Arab world that they truly desire peace with Israel, the Arab world will continue to incite, train and fund terrorism against Israel. Israel's response to terrorism does not constitute a "cycle of violence" any more than a policeman having to shoot it out with an armed robber constitutes a "cycle of crime."

"I come before you today with a deep sense of urgency," Abdullah told the 61st session of the United Nations General Assembly. "Never has it been more important for the world community to act decisively for peace in my region."

All that needs to be done for "peace in the region" is for the Arab world to jointly recognize Israel's right to exist on the biblical homeland of the Jews. When they demonstrate that they truly want to live in peace with Israel, there won't be any need for a treaty. When Israel is satisfied that peace has been established, and that it is a serious lasting peace, withdraws can take place.

He said the recent crises in the Middle East - apparently referring to the conflict between Israel and Hizbullah as well as the violence in the Gaza Strip - showed that "there can be no just global order when aggression and occupation are permitted to take the place of international law."
The hypocrisy is so thick you can cut it with a knife. Jordan's heinous 19 year long legacy of cruelty to the Palestinians is of public record. Palestinians suffered far worse when the West Bank was under Jordanian administration. Furthermore, Jordan helped create the refugee crisis in the first place, not to mention that it was Jordan's aggression in 1967 that made Israel's presence necessary when they attempted sought Israel's destruction a second time inside of 20 years.

"Our youths are asking, 'where is the justice, where is the will of the global community?' We must answer them by establishing a lasting peace based on the international legality we have pledged to uphold," he said.
It is too bad that Arab children are left historically illiterate. They should be asking why the world does exact justice on behalf of the Palestinians from the Arab counrties who not only created the refugee problem, but refuses to solve their problem. Their youth should be asking why the Arab world has only sought to exacerbate the problem for the sake of propaganda points against Israel. They should be asking why the Palestinian people being treated by the Arab world as nothing but political pawns. Therein lies the true human rights violation.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
