Do you know what is really amusing??? The school I am attending is trying to implement a BAR CODE ID system for taking attendance....and it's a BIBLE school....every time the dean mentions it I mutter to myself, "mark of the beast".....but they haven't gotten it in place yet, LOL....

first off, it will come in under deception, and will not be forced for a time, deception, deception.....

just like with EVE, she was deceived, the words were twisted, added on to, and she had direct communications with the Lord, her and Adam walked with the Lord through the Garden, what better comunications can one have, what better source.... yet, she was decieved....

whether or not this "Verichip"(tradename) is or will become the mark is not so much what matters, there are already people that have this chip inplanted in them .... 1. for identification, 2. for medical reasons, 3. for locating......... Walmart would like to be the first to use it to buy and sell.... have you noticed that walmart already has self serve lanes, where you can scan your own purchase, pay with a card and be on your way, and never even talk to a clerk?

now there are other stores that are doing this as well....

I do not actually see the mark coming into full force until after the rapture, and then it will only be encouraged to be taken (if you want to be a good citizen, you will do your civic duty and be registered with the division of records or who ever they are) , and then after a time it will be made almost manditory, and then people will die if they do not take it.....

you see, you are right, to a point, the true Christian will not be taking it, for they will not be on the earth to be deceived into taking it, for they will not be on this earth at that time......

the chip in question is now small enough to pass through a medium bore hypodermic needle, and would not be surprised if it will be made even smaller soon....

You're kidding, right? The number "666" means absolutely nothing outside of its specific context in Revelation.

I think the American situation is a bit different in that we have quite a bit of illegal immigrants...thus if ID cards were needed it would be much easier to identify who was a citizen and who wasn't.

However, I oppose them because they really serve no purpose other than that.

Those illegals who are here are using forged documents of one sort or another. I mean they don't just walk into a restraunt or construction site and say "Hire me, I'm Illegal so you can pay me under the table." Many employers check their ID as part of the hiring process.

RealID is not going to change anything as those who have forged documents get an ID based on them. Those who come here later will get a fake RealID, after someone figures out how to make one.

I won't even serve that purpose either. It's all security theatre, meant to make us feel safer. And it takes away our privacy.

Obviously the bureaucracy of this school has convinced itself that there is no biblical objection to barcoding and there is nothing wrong with branding its pupils. Branding its own property. Nobody should have anything to do with this, not only because you cannot serve two masters but purely on a principle basis as well.

It will do no good muttering to yourself. This has to be brought to the forefront and dealt with, or one day you will find that you go to school and all of a sudden it will be announced that "we are implementing this system for 'attendance' and as there have been no objections, we assume that everybody agrees that it is a good idea" and you will have to agree to the system or leave the school. You won't be able to, all of a sudden, voice any objections because your past (seeming) silence has indicated your agreement.

What do the parents of the kids at this school feel about it? Has anyone ever asked them?

Firstly, I don't believe that "real id" is the mark of the beast and I don't believe that people generally see it as that. However, it is most decidedly a HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUE, it violates the right to privacy.

As for "no one will be tricked into taking the mark. They will know full well....etc..." I doubt this very much. "Deception" is the key. People will be deceived enmasse into taking the MOB, they will be deceived enmasse into supporting the antichrist, they will think he is the "greatest thing since sliced bread" and it will seem only natural to "take the mark" and show your support for him. I can see people, yes even Christian people, going round saying "are you kidding me? There's nothing wrong with this" and "this is an ususual situation, we are at war, we have to give up some civil liberties temporarily to preserve our way of life" - all in an effort to convince themselves and others that they are going down the right road.

I hate to say it but hearing the responses of a lot of people here I can see them making the same responses when faced with the the MOB. People don't like to be seen as not supporting a popular cause.

I am quite sure that when the MOB IS forced on everybody (sure, "forced" because you WILL have a choice, "it is not compulsory unless you want to buy, sell, drive, enter a Federal building, work, get paid, operate a bank account etc. etc., and of course you don't HAVE to do those things) it will be by deception and the "slippery slope". It will start out as a seemingly benign id system (just for statistics mind you), then morph into something really sinister. However, by that time people will be so entrenched in obsequiously cooperating with government agencies that they will virtually automatically take the MOB.

Anyway, to the "Real ID". There are tons of reasons for everyone to fight this thing which have nothing to do with the MOB (completely aside from the fact that when you have a "real id" card you will be able to be tracked down and possibly killed as a "suspected dissenter" during the reign of the antichrist).

However ".....destroy it". I rather doubt it, your biometric measurements will have already been taken and you will be "on the database". So now is the time to reject it, not if and when you decide that it is not a good idea. And I have to question why anybody would think this is "inevitable".

And I have done a lot of searching and I can't come up with ANY good reason why anyone could benefit in any way at all from adopting this system. It seems to do nothing for anybody (except perhaps satisfy the control-freak desires of a government bureaucrat and offer a thrilling experience to a DMV employee), so why are people just "sitting back and taking all this garbage"?

Have I got it right. Are you saying that you think you can cooperate with taking the MOB because "God will take care of you"? If this is not what you meant please say so.

In case I'm not wrong, I must remind you that we were warned in Revelations:

9"And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name".

Now don't get me wrong. I am not saying that "real id" is the MOB, I am just reacting to what you appeared to be saying.
