Help... People worshiping Google as GOD?!?

I've been a long time lurker of these forums, but I HAD to register to report this blasphemy. I found the Church of Google website while browsing the web. I am sickened that people choose to worship Google over God. I registered at their forums and am currently trying to show them the true God. If anyone wants to help out, please register at their *edit* and give them a piece of your mind! We need to show them the way of Christ.

Sighs, lowers head to rub eyes. Are people really so thick? Google as God? Eeeeeeeeek!!! I will pray for the eyes of its members to be opened.

They think the concept is a parody, but they are utterly atheistic and don't know what they are messing with.

surely it's more tongue in cheek than a sincere belief that google is god! tell me, please tell me that they don't actually 'worship' google.

ok, i've looked it over. even read some of the hate mail, which the site owners found hilarious. i found myself shaking my head wondering why people are bothering. the site is intended as a joke. not a harmless one, but one whose only purpose is to get under the skin of Christians, so that the Christians will look foolish when they take it seriously.

i won't be joining the forums. it's a setup. they are there purposely to lure you in and mock God. there ears are not open. what is the old proverb? something about not throwing good food after the swine or something like that? never mind, i just googled it... it's 'don't throw pearls after swine'. matthew 7:6... Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

please, folks, don't waste your time going and signing up on their board. you're casting pearls at swine that will trample them before ripping you to shreds.

No they don't. There just a bunch of Religion bashers, as usual, people who try and blame the problems of today's society on Religion but are in denial that the problems of society are due to the Humanist Manifesto movement, seperation of Church and State etc.

Take my advice and steer clear, you will only be wasting your time, they don't believe Google is God but they emphatically deny that God exists. You cannot reason with people like this. Either way they are not affiliated with the Google company and are drawing some fairly negative attention to Google without having any permission from Google to operate a site that is in the likeness of Google.Com, they are infringing on a trademark name and it won't take long for Google to shut them down.

Especially seeing a littel bird I know contacted Google and informed them about the copyright infringment....lol

there are people that can not do with out having their porn,

there are people that can not do with out having their TV,

there are people that can not do with out having their fancy cars,

there are people that can not do with out having their food (excess),

you see, there are all kinds of gods, and the internet is one of them....

so is the church of google just them acknowledging that they are using the internet as one of their gods?

I wonder what they would do if someone went over there and posted something like:

"As a Christian, I would like to appologize to you for the hypocratic ways Christians have acted, for failing to show genuine love to you, . . ."

Think they wouldn't expect that?
