Apostate Kansas Church to protest while the Amish bury their children

I haven't got the source article yet, but it's all over the network news. These people need to be collectively condemned by the real Church and ostricized from our communities.

Westboro Baptist Church is infamous for protesting at the funerals of American soldiers killed in battle, because of the DoD's "don't ask don't tell policy" instated by the Clinton Administration. They hold signs and claim to speak from God.

Here is an example of some of their disgusting slogans:

"God hates fags."

"Thank God for 9-11"

"God hates USA"

These people are apostates and any trace of Christ's presence in their church left a long time ago. These people go all around the country dishonoring the dead and cruelly exploiting family members grief to make political statements. The Cult of Westboro is very dangerous to Christianity and we must separate ourselves from it completely.

Just so we are all on the same page, I was refering to the people who protest at funerals. They all have demons in them.

the westboro kooks have long been a thorn under my side. the first time i ever heard of them was when they faxed my daughter's high school five years ago with some very hateful words and very graphic, hand-drawn pornography, to let them know they were coming to vegas to protest the school's production of a play about the homosexual that was murdered... matthew something. the day they arrived to protest, i almost kept my kid home from school. but since she was entering from another side of the campus, i gave in and let her go. she never had to see those whackos with her own eyes. but she DID see the pornographic fax before they came, because she brought a copy of it home to me.

If anyone here is a member of a Baptist Church, get with your minister and see if you can work out a policy that doesn't recognize Westboro as a Baptist Church.

I think the Baptist works like the Methodist and that all the money received by the congregations goes into a Baptist account that is then distributed to all Baptist Churches. We need to stop funding Westboro Baptist Cult, if we haven't done so already.

baptist churches already do NOT recognize westboro as a baptist church. in fact, there's no Christian church or organization that recognizes them as Christian.

Not quite.....

The SBLC might work in that fashion, but Independent Baptist Churches are fully, well, independent of such things. The whole workings, money or otherwise, are fully contained within their own churches. Each independent church is it's own thing. There are no outside ties to requirements held unless they are dumb enough to align themselves with a number of various conferences or groups, such as the World Council of Churches.

That said, the Westboro Baptist Church no more resembles a legitimate Baptist church any more than a local strip club, whore house, or your local ALCU office.
