Greetings everyone,

There seems to be a lot of discussions on Catholicsism here lately, and I have been doing my best to not reply but just read.

For it seems to me that any other one that I have participated in were unfruitful and often lead to very bad spirits being revealed in the discussions, such as arguements, anger, name calling, twisting of scripture etc...

Well I am a former Catholic and just dont believe what they believe any more and do not see where I have to defend myself why I think that Catholicsism is wrong.

So I would like to do what a lot of Catholics have led me to do when they want me to learn of their teachings, and that is to lead me to and refer me to web sites that "backup" where they are at in their beliefs.

Here is a website by a former Catholis nun, and she exposes the religion for what it really is. I hope you enjoy it. It is awesome and full of truth.

Before our Catholic friends reply to this thread with questions about "Is there really a Mary Ann Collins?" and "This is just another anti-Catholic propagandist site." I would like to point out that there is no reaon whatsoever to doubt the veracity of the claims made on that website. If you doubt that this person was ever a nun or that she ever, in fact, existed, there is contact information where you can reach her. In the meantime, I recommend that the entire site be thoroughly examined before making any comments.

Thanks for the site I have just come back from reading two of the articles It looks like a good site.

I am a former catholic as well Jesusisgod2 :t3: I am pleasantly surprised there are many of us here in fellowship It is so good to meet others who have heard the call and got themselves out of her.

Hi God-man,

Not only does she have contact information, she does personally respond back.

She sent me a beautiful e-mail with some information that was very edifying of what goes in in the deep secrets of the catholic church.

This was back in May so I dont know if she is floode with response these days, but what a beautiful spirit she has, and very knowledgable of the workings within catholicsism.

Your title should read a protestant minister, not ministers, who became Catholic. The first guy mentioned is not a big deal - after all he was raised as a Catholic. (Sounds kind of like Angeledei's story)

The second of two you mention was not a minister at all - the article isn't even clear as to whether he was a protestant or even considered himself a Christian before he became a Catholic.

Angeledei: Do you mind my asking a personal question. I know you were raised Catholic until the age of 12 and spend some time in the Baptist church until you were in your early 20's. Were you hurt by someone in the Baptist church?

I personally think it's ludicrous that some priests leave the Catholic church, become Protestant, marry, and are then accepted back as Catholic priests. How do you Catholics feel about that?
