Why would God want to take away our freedom to choose between good and bad. Then we wouldn't be what He created us to be to begin with. God made no mistake in creating man.

God wants us to have a free will to either accept or reject Him. Why would God want a bunch of robots that really has no feeling for Him? If we accept God then we love Him and that is what He desires.

Other than the New Birth which you hopefully have already received, where did God say He would do anything about your sin nature?

Hello all, May I put my two cents in here? The born again person has two natures, the old man and the new. The Bible says old things have passed away all things have become new.

We killed the old nature when we repented. But like a tree that is cut off and a different tree trunk grafted in, we have one here at the house it is a dwarf fruit tree. I don't know what kind of tree the root was. I see shoots coming from it. If left to grow it would turn back to being the old tree. I must cut those shoots off every so often. Paul said that he died daily. The old man(nature) will try to grow back. We must "kill" it everyday. Helping us we have the Holy Spirit inside. We are not alone in our struggle with the old nature. Some day we will have a new body(A spiritual body) and we won't have the old nature to fight anymore. Praise Jesus!

Because every time we walk in the Power of Jesus Christ indwelling in us to conquer over our sin, then is He proved true and evidenced as the Redeemer. If there were no sin nature for Him to conquer in us, then the unsaved man, would have no hope.

Jesus Christ is no longer unseen, when we walk in His Righteousness, rather than in the ways of the darkness.

God does eradicate a person's sin nature when He saves a person.

Problem is, we are not saved YET.

Salvation is a future event...and a process...not a one time, fully completed event that happens simply because one begins faith in Christ.

Um, I thought He did. I am continually being santified and made closer into the image of Christ Jesus.

It's a matter of time. Anytime anyone accepts Christ, behold he is a new creation.

That doesn't mean we don't ever sin..but it does mean we begin to change on the inside. I know I sure have.
