It effects the Presidency, because with a majority democrat congress that has been calling President Bush a liar for the last 3-4 years, they will create a litigation fiasco and try to impeach him. They will base their impeachment on the charge of lying about WMD'sin Iraq. A President will not be able to do his job effectively when dealing with an impeachment.

This is all political bloodletting for the Clinton Impeachment Process he went through at the end of his presidency.

Just one problem though, Clinton did lie and committed purgery, President Bush did not and has stockpiles of chemical weapons cache discoveries to vindicate him.

Liberals are upset over what happened to the Clinton Presidency and if they can some how discredit the Republicans or convince the majority of people that the Republican Party is a Corrupt, Hipocritical, Ethically Bankrupt party, then they will win the Presidency in 08 and Hillary will be elected.

The 06 Elections have nothing to do with securing our country, it's all about the democrat's presidential bid in 2 years.

Ask a Democrat to discuss the issues and he will slam Bush. Ask him about the economy and the 4.4% unemployment, record home ownership for Americans and specifically Black Americans home ownership and he will discuss raising minimum wage. Ask about taxes and you will get the socialist policy of "income redistribution" (in which the rich get taxed rediculously higher than lower income people and those taxes are intended for democrats beloved social programs. So, mediocrity and idleness will be rewarded and entreprenourship/ financial risk takers, "over-achievers" will be penalized.

Socialism is one step away from Communism and we now have socialists running our Goverment.

i dont know how many here have served in the forces but apprenetly not too many

gulf and iraq i served this country in both and by the grace of only christ am alive today

Someone wanted to know how these elections affected President Bush and I elaborated.

This was no giant move to the left. Most of the Dems elected were on the conservative side of their party. Its going to be interesting to see how effective Speaker Pelosi will be with her San Fransico values verse the middle American values that got some of the Dems in office. Also, the world is going to find out just how anti-war the left in this country really are. Are they really going to pull out of Iraq or was it just a political football for them to kick only until they got into office?

The only resentment I have towards the election is how it was carried out. I think most Americans are sick and tired of the negative campaigns, lies, spin and biased media. We, of course, will bow down gracefully even though the conduct of the democrats was desperate, deceptive and down-right dirty.

You don't have to worry about PEDS or BDS or a huge lack of humility on our parts, we know we have a chance to change things in 2 years.
