I have noticed over the few years on this Earth that I have been that the US and other nations are slowly gravitating to a "Politcally correct" society.. My opinion I don't like it. You can't say certain things almost nothing without offending some group or some individual. You can't walk around like a normal human being and still be worried that the begger down the street isn't some guy playing an act. Oh yes we've studied about that. It's just certain things like this that make me wonder...

What is the rest of the world thinking about this and why have we become so "tip-toe" around everybody to not offend them?

Anymore I don't understand how public schools can actually encourage people to get pregenant so early...The high school I use to go to has a 13 yr old preganant by a 24 yr old or 26? It shocks me to say the least. Anymore I don't watch tv cause there is usually nothing good on. I couldn't tell you really much as to what is going on in the world. But I could tell you that the way the world is turning to here I am saddened. I pray everynight for the world. I am a student nurse and learning by far more than I ever could know about the wonders of the human body and mind. The only part of us that makes our personality is only 3 cm thick and is called the cerebral cortex and to be honest we are stilling learning about the human body and mind.

Now that I've ranted I'm sorry but enjoy the rest of the topic. God Bless all that read.

Whatever happened to "constuctive criticism"? You're right, it is getting bad out there, and I am tired of being careful not to step on people's toes.

A long time ago I heard the phrase "accept yourself for who you are" and thought "Well now that doesn't give much room for self improvement does it?"

I agree with you Lady G. People need to be true to God, their family and themselves.

I am a politically uncorrect person myself.

I try to always respect people and use my manners that were instilled in me as a child. But as for things that I believe in and things that I believe are wrong I tend to say what I think and don't give a rip who approves of me....or not.

People I have known a long time respect that about me. My kids laughingly say nobody ever has to worry about where I stand , just ask me and I'll sure tell you.

I'm not a mean person I have a genuine love for people. I just say what I believe and you can agree .....or not :emot-hug:

If we could disband the ACLU we would probably get most of our rights as Christians back. I guess I've never been hung up on being "politcally correct" just straight-forwrd and as honest as possible. (My wife makes me be as tactful as she can though). God Bless

In my opinion, it has been part of Satan's plan for several years/decades now to create a coerced but self-imposed thought police force.

It all ties to the need to stop truth from being spoken. It has been done so subtly that most of us  didn't see it coming until it was too late already. As with most of Satan's lies it began with something that could stand some improving and then it quickly deteriorated. There were words that should not be used and those set the stage for "You shall not surely die" which was to follow.

I agree. Pc or politically correct speech is part of a movement with very specific objectives.

In general it is disdainful of anything overtly religious, "spirituality" is wonderful, but of course if you actually believe anything it is a problem and Christianity is of course held with disdain. The "program" is focused on a value neutral society, there is no good or bad, no evil or good, only situational ethics, you cannot say really anything is bad, you can say it is not a healthy choice, but you cannot say that it is immoral. Morality itself is seen as wrong.

Just one example, to say that having sex outside of marriage is immoral is wrong; to say someone who has sex blatantly outside of marriage is sinning and is immoral is of course a horrible thing to say and judgmental. But who that does is hurt young people who will find out soon enough the danger and damage that having sex outside of marriage can cause.

This kind of attitude is the reason that one out of every three babies born in the US is born a bastard child. Of course simply stating that fact is considered horribly judgmental.

Well I can't say whether I love it or hate it...but I am happy that people don't run around using the "N" word on a regular basis...or that women dont *frequently* get called names simply for being a woman....there are many more examples but its late and i dont feel like writing them all out. :24:

You've proven my point. That N word was a horrible thing to use... and it was removed (except for use by blacks among themselves) very quickly from public life.

How do you extrapolate from that evil to my being evil if I say I have a pet dog (not that I do but you get my drift here) and say so. Why must my DOG be an animal companion? It is a dog; it is a pet. Where is the problem? and this is cited as a problem by PETA

As with everything Satan does, it leads to foolish excess.

Sorry darski but the N word didn't leave quickly - It is still being used in the south, just kept low key. And PETA is absolutely ridiculous of an organization what a bunch of weirdos. (oops) I mean normal behavior challenged homo sapiens.

To be politically correct is most often a way to ban truth in the guise of good manners. It is a means to a political end.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
